Summat Else B & B

From the moment Hilary and John met us at the bottom of the driveway we experienced the most wonderful customer service, the kindest hospitality, the most satisfying breakfast and the wonderfully comfortable beds all in the cleanest accommodation. Thank you so much both for a wonderful wonderful stay. Enjoyed by all 4 of us. Sian Williams Llangllen.

We've stayed at the Summat Else B&B previously, however it is now under new management and it has definitely improved! We stayed for four nights with our corgi and he was greeted with enthusiasm and treats which was a lovely touch. He very much enjoyed them and his stay!

It was a good sized double room with ensuite, enough space to put our pup's crate as well as all of our bags too. The refurbishment has created an inviting environment that made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay.

We were supplied with fresh milk in a shared fridge on the landing along with cold decanted water for the hotter days. The rooms were supplied well with towels, hairdryer, kettle, various teas and instant coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too. These were refreshed as required by Hilary with spares down in the breakfast room.

We took advantage of the cereals provided as well as a lovely cooked breakfast which was faultless. There were also yogurts, porridge, fresh fruits and other options to pick from so there is something for all tastes.

We mentioned in passing that it was part of our mini-moon and Hilary supplied us with a lovely bottle of bubbly to celebrate which was so kind of them! An added, unexpected bonus that shows the thought that they put into making their guests feel at home.

There was ample parking for us, and the B&B is only a short walk to the beach and the town centre.

We thoroughly recommend staying here.

Well, the name says it all this is summat else, we have just stayed for 3 days 7-9 Oct 2022 based on 2 things, 1 they accept dogs, and 2 previous reviews, we stayed in the superior room, lovely, very large bed, large bathroom and big shower excellently clean, large tv, hilary and john was just superb, so friendly kind and caring, even put dog treats in room, breakfast = wow lovely tasty sausages too and lots to choose, we are defo coming back, thank you it made our stay, Toby says hi, thank you Dave, Elaine and Toby xxx

Stayed 1 night but wish it had been more. Impeccably presented bedroom with very comfortable bed, very modern ensuite, spotlessly clean with Sky TV, free wifi, hairdryer, Tea & coffee facilities incl. biscuits. A lovely warm welcome from Hilary & John for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement which is useful as we were in area to pick up a puppy & can return. The breakfast was nothing short of a feast, interacting with hostess whilst cooking as well as other guests if one wished. Just superb & highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Hilary and John. They could not do enough for us, to the point that we felt as though we were staying with friends! 😊 Room was perfect with a sea view and was lovely and cool, even in the recent heatwave. Breakfast was scrumptious. Book, you are in for a treat!!

My parents stayed here for 4 nights. Fabulous hosts down to earth and helpful. Room spotless and breakfast done to order and tasted lovely!! Bus stops outside for both Aberystwyth and Cardigan and within walking distance to the harbour and beach from the B & B. Cannot recommend Summat Else enough. My parents loved it!!
