Camden Lodge Bed & Breakfast

What a fantastic and wonderful stay! I highly recommend this B&B for its modern cosy rooms, amazing views and friendly atmosphere that the hosts created - nothing was ever too much. Elaine and Lynn were considerate and caring hosts who are a great representation of the lovely B&B they have created. The room was spacious, immaculately clean with stunning views looking over Brecon scenery. Great selection of breakfast options, all high quality food from local sources. The B&B has private parking and is situated close to the town centre and beautiful hiking spots. It is clean, comfortable, safe and quiet - I can’t praise this place enough. Overall it is a beautiful B&B - definitely the best place I have ever stayed away. I will undoubtedly be booking to stay again!

Wow - Simply amazing from beginning of stay to the end. We stayed for three nights and the hosts Elaine and her husband were so friendly and welcoming and very helpful with recommendations of places to eat, they were so lovely to chat to, we felt we had known them for ever.
The room was spotless and massive with a super king size bed and fantastic views of Pen-y-Fan.
It was so peaceful yet only a 5minute walk into Brecon, fabulous location.
The breakfast had so many options to chose from and was delicious.
Anyone going to the Brecon Beacons you have to stay here, we will definitely be returning.

Just stayed here for 2 nights and what a find, it is outstanding in all aspects from the cleanliness to a very warm welcome from the very friendly hosts. Great location, spacious rooms, super king size very comfortable beds, stunning view overlooking the town and then the beacons themselves with Pen y fan in the middle and a stunning breakfast to get you on your way in the mornings. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful modern and very relaxing place.

We stayed at the Camden lodge the weekend just gone and can honestly say what and absolute pleasure it was. Firstly we were greeted by the lovely Elaine and what a super host she is.

I must echo what other reviews have already stated. Stunning and well furnished rooms, parking, beautiful views of the rolling hill surrounding breacon and also a short walk to the town center. Breakfast is everything you could ask for and more.

In regards to location, it is a perfect spot to make as your base for exploring all what the brecon beacons have to offer, everything is very easily accessible via car. Our host also have some great reccomendations too!

We will 100% be returning to this idlic setting and hats off to the camden lodge for making us feel at home.

We can honestly say this is the nicest place we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We were blown away by the quality of the accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed, and brand new en suite. The whole place is presented to a high specification and is warm and inviting. We slept well and were thankful for the thoughtful touches such as bottled water, fresh milk and tea and coffee, including a decaf option. The Welsh cakes and hot chocolate were also a nice treat! Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Food was of a good quality and the service was perfect. The accommodation has a nice chill out lounge for guests, and is perfectly situated, meaning it was only a short stroll into the town. Also a great spot for exploring the brecon national park. We enjoyed chatting to the owners and they made such an effort to make sure we, and all of their other guests, were happy. Absolutely spot on! Could not ask for more. We will definitely be returning. This is an amazing bed and breakfast! It felt like we paid budget prices for a luxury hotel. Everything was clean and in great condition - the place felt new. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts are wonderful! The portions are very generous. In fact, the breakfasts kept us full for so long that we didn't need to eat lunch even on the days we were hiking. You can order a smaller plate but the food is so good that you won't want to. The location is also great. It's a quick and easy walk into town, and the views of the mountains are beautiful. The little Welsh welcome treat was very appreciated. I highly recommend this B&B.

Elaine couldn't have made our stay at Camden Lodge a happier and more comfortable one. She gave us such a warm welcome and showed us the beautiful Lodge. No expense had been spared and it couldn't have been a better base to explore the lovely location from.

This is a superlative B&B. The quality is more akin to a high-end boutique hotel but with all the warmth of personal touch you get when staying in someone's home. I couldn't fault a single thing about the place. Elaine and Lin are incredible hosts with years of experience in the hospitality industry and you can talk to them for hours. Nothing is too much trouble for them, the breakfast sets a standard nowhere else can beat for generosity and quality, it's large, spacious, clean, modern and just a 5 minute walk into town. They also gave us solid gold recommendations for where to eat and drink in the area. We stayed for 4 nights in the massive bedroom 1 with a wonderful view of Pen Y Fan. We could easily have stayed for much longer though. Nowhere else on our trip came close. I'd happily return just to experience it all over again. I wouldn't look anywhere else in town - very highly recommended.
