Just returned for the third year running from a short break away. The Victoria Hotel, is clean, tidy, welcoming and staff are very helpful and friendly. Stunning views from room 4, boats from the harbour and the sea. Relaxing short break away, hopefully will return next year, thank you, James, Lisa and Gracie.

Didn't stay here but came in for Dinner and a few pints when spending the night in Pwhelli for Hammerfest in March! I can't put into words how amazing the food was! The best Beef Stroganoff & the best chips I have honestly ever eaten! It's unfortunate that I can't comment on the hotel itself, but if it's as anywhere near as good as the food, drink and service, you're laughing! 10/10 easily!

Basic but very clean.
Room was smallish but acceptable and seemed to be recently refurbished.
Stairs a little steep for the not so nimble but ok.
Breakfast was really good.
Evening meals are not available every day, but only 0.4 mile walk into town.
Good place to stay for a few days and although not exactly luxurious it is good value for money.

2 minute walk to the beach

i believe the owners have changed, and they were not offering evening meals when i stayed 3rd&4th December 2018. I was in room 1 and it is extremely noisy with the main bar located directly underneath, it didn't quieten down until past 11.30pm. the room decoration is extremely dated and could do with a freshen up. the hot water and shower wasn't even luke warm, though they got it fixed for the next morning. the heating went off at 7.30pm but after two conversations they did provide a heater and the heating was fixed the next day too.

We had a memorable stay in Victoria Hotel. That night my wife had pre-mature symptoms and we were so desperately looking for help. The manager of the hotel came and provided us so much assistances. She is a passionate lady and her empathy helps to clam down myself. I admit at that moment I don't know what to do except from calling 999.

My second son is now 3 weeks and he is a robust baby. We will tell him this story and bring him back to Pwllheli again.

Richard and Eileen could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Nothing was too much for them. Rooms were nicely presented and very clean. Would recommend highly to anyone.

Clean and comfortable. A bit weird not to see anyone but they gave us a phone if we had emergencies but all was ok. Great location for the beach

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! - not a hotel. Has been converted to a halfway house, uses the attic room to house unknowing and unfortunate guests. Electrics don’t appear to installed to regulations, however, a car air freshener was kindly placed by the door to provide that new car smell.
