Bensons for Beds Orpington

Had my super king bed delivered today, was expecting it to be put together. The delivery guys had no record of this and I am now left to arrange something on my own. I specifically asked for assembly as it’s such a big bed and I could not manage it on my own.
The store is not taking phone calls and the customer service line said I was number 91 in the queue!
My advice is don’t expect any customer service once you have handed over your money, there is absolutely none.

I ordered a bed back in December I had to wait 5months as they delayed the delivery twice. To make matter worse i was sent a message to be informed of my delivery on a Thursday i had to take time off work only to be called on the day at nearly mid day that my bed would be delivered the next day. I went in store to ask for my money back and they wouldn't give me why is besons for beds selling iteams they do not have to sell. Worst service ever.

Really pleasant experience, choice of mattresses really good at all prices and sales staff advised and left you alone to browse but still on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend

The absolute worst kind of customer service I have ever come across. They are fast to follow upon things until you have paid but a complete nightmare on all follow-ups for delivery, customer service, etc. after. As an eg. The date for delivery on my Staples bed has been pushed out by almost a month, then was sent to the wrong address and now supposed to be delivered this week but they refuse to write anything on email to confirm the new delivery date.

Additionally, please not that the sales team hands off everything to a customer care team right after sale and refuses to take any responsibility for any mishaps eg. dings on the bed frame cause by mishandling even before a new bed is being delivered to you.

Avoid the Orpington branch maybe or Bensons as a whole.

The item arrived on the day arranged but the driver left a lot to be desired. He passed the box, which granted was very large, over the threshold of the front door but in the process must have either put the box down or trod down with his boot onto the rain guard at the base of the door as I found it lying on the floor after he had walked away. I did not see this at first as I was on the other side of the large box and could not see what had happened. I rang him to tell him what he had inadvertently done and he completely denied that it could possibly have been him, exact words being "no way could I have done that". I asked him if he was saying that it was me who was lying and he told me to take it up with Bensons.

The person that took care of my enquiries and all my questions was truly knowledgeable. I did like her attitude and friendliness it makes an enormous difference.

Excellent service and no pressure to buy. Will be using again prices reasonable too.

Ordered once and told there was a delay a couple of days before delivery with no expected date. Cancelled order to look for something else, couldn’t find anything so some months later I re-ordered and was told there was another delay on the afternoon before the delivery date. I spent all morning moving our old bed into our spare room, only to have to move it back that afternoon after the phone call telling me it’s delayed. Really poor, and definitely pretty dissatisfied with the customer service side of things.
On the other hand, the bed is great and was very simple to put together - thank you.
