Was expecting a shop, but it's not, it's a micro pub. Good choice of beer, cider, including still flat cider, and nice garlic rye bread nibbles. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

What I didn't guess from the relatively unassuming shop front is that there's a sizeable back garden, and who doesn't love a beer garden? It's all about the beers here, as you'd guess, and pleasingly, the selection is wide and varied, including a couple of porters on tap which is always a plus. Some beer shops can seem a little crammed in but this one manages to get the balance right, possibly due to the aforementioned beer garden.

Excellent beer from the cask. Always a decent selection that changes. They also have an area for the enjoyment of beer outside. Apparently they also serve decent wine and 'craft beer'.. so you could take a friend who likes that kind of thing.

Great little place to grab a drink have a great selection. Nice and easy place. Alphie has a great knowledge of what he's selling. If you like craft beer get yourself down there..

A pub, as well as a shop.
Much bigger than it looks from the outside.
Best beer and cider selection in the local area.

Go in, be surprised, and enjoy a pint.

A great micropub. The wine selection is far better than at most micropubs, which too often focus on beer at the expense of wine!

I love it. Amazing selection of beers, as well as gin and some wine. They know their stuff. Recommend for a chilled evening with friends

This is one of the most extraordinary places I ever checked in a while, it has loads of beers that you never heard of an example is sour beer, something that I never knew it's existed and it was amazing. Loads of extraordinary Stouts with some flavours that you never heard of, literally everything was out of this world all of it blew my mind off. I will definitely go there again and I will highly recommend to people who would like to try new tastes
