Beer Merchants

Lost an order of rare beer I ordered for a party and I had to proactively chase them to find this out, no offer of compensation and in fact stated "We've lost a lot of money on this order too" when I said I was disappointed. 1 star as they did at least process my refund swiftly. I'd recommend finding somebody else until they change their logistic partner and attitude towards customer service.

Have been ordering cases of beers from Beermerchants for many years now and never been disappointed. My glass collection has grown too. The mixed cases make excellent presents as they have so much choice. Everyone I have ordered for has been very happy!

Saw an offer on a Mini Keg Paulana Wiess Beer, the Keg + a free glass for £25. On delivery the Keg came but no glass. On emailing Beer Merchants they claim that it did not come with a free glass. It clearly did as myself and friend exchanged how good the offer was. On checking the web link to the offer on delivery it was no longer working, so they obviously pulled the offer since me placing the order and claiming it no longer applies and you pay £4.95 for the glass.

Slightly rude response with a one line email too.

Stick with the likes of Beerwolf / Beerhawk for your Beer Orders.

Seems like others have had the same experience in missing items.

Been using them for a few years now and have completed many orders. Good service(any problems I have run into have been well handled), excellent beer range , competitive pricing and great beer club too. I did my only crowdfunding for their Hackney Wick bar, Beermerchants Tap and that's my favourite bar too. Highly recommended.

I made an order by mistake (don't ask) and emailed to ask to cancel the order. Someone replied back within half a working day to confirm it has been cancelled. So top marks from me and my experience with CS. Regards.

I've ordered from this site multiple times and only every had a good experience (as an aside the boxes are also really useful for glasses when you move house)!

Shocking like many on Trustpilot paid for goods that weren't delivered.

Paid for 6 items a box of 5 arrived with a packing slip that said 6 were included (impossible as box was full with 5).

Tried to call (calls just disconnect), tried to email, tried to contact via paypal and 0 response.

Seems the MO is they ship goods partial order if not enough in stock. hope you don't notice and dont respond to refund requests or requests for the missing items.

Seems to be a bit of a lottery as many similar stories on trust pilot it seems.

First time I've used Beer Merchants and I'm impressed. My shipment got damaged in transit and I ended up 8 bottles short. When I called this in, Nathan just took the details and arranged for replacements to be sent, no questions asked. I'll happily use them again.
