Ive had my bike serviced here twice now and both times the team have been super friendly, efficent and have done an excellent job at making my bike run smoothly again. Highly recommend them

Very happy with my bike after yesterday's service. They were able to fit it in at relatively short notice (day or two). They were very easy to deal with and fixed up my bike to be better than it was when delivered new 2 years ago (from another retailer) even fixing bits I hadn't mentioned but knew were wrong with it. They noticed and just dealt with it which is awesome!

On Sunday 17 July 2022 I was seeking a fast hybrid (in addition to my trusty workhorse, a Raleigh Pioneer). Therefore I phoned Moore's Cycles Teddington store and the MERIDA100 Speeder was recommended. TOMAS was very helpful and spent a lot of time discussing various accessories that I could have fitted to the bike. I then took it out for a test ride and was very impressed with its performance. My only reservations at the time were its flat bars and a much lower forward riding position than I was used to and comfortable with but I hoped that with the attachment of an adjustable stem riser and bar ends this situation could be remedied to my satisfaction.

The bike was delivered to my home address on Friday 22 July and by then it had the adjustable stem riser and bar ends fixed as ordered. However, it still did not appear to offer a riding position that I was comfortable with so I tried to adjust the stem riser but was unable to do so with any of my own hex/allen keys. With hindsight I realise now that I should have then phoned Moore's store and sought advice on appropriate adjustment. However, even with adjustments, I was still doubtful if I could achieve the desired position and in a mix of frustration and panic I hastily called the Teddington store and sought to return the bike, for a full refund. I spoke with BEN the manager and he agreed to this without question or the slightest quibble. Of course, upon my arrival at the store it might still have been possible to have made a satisfactory adjustment to the riding position?? However, we will never know because I did n't raise the matter again and unfortunately the moment and the MERIDA were lost. .

So sadly this was not a happy ending but the experience has taught me that when buying a new bike IT IS IMPERATIVE TO COLLECT IT PERSONALLY AT THE STORE. That way any problems about sizing, riding position, comfort etc. can be addressed immediately. If they can be dealt with satisfactorily that is great but, if after all diligent efforts the issue(s) cannot be rectified, THEN there would be reasonable grounds for 'throwing in the towel'.

I will conclude this tale of woe with two important points.

Firstly, I have no doubt that whoever has subsequently bought the MERIDA Speeder will be very pleased with it. It is a super bike and I am sure that it will provide many years of happy cycling fun. Good luck to you, take care and enjoy it!

Secondly, although my own story clearly did not end well, I cannot speak highly enough of TOMAS for his knowledge, politeness and patience and his manager BEN for his courtesy and tolerance in dealing with a situation which will continue to cause me considerable embarrassment and regret for many years to come.

For all your bicycle needs, I would thoroughly recommend MOORE'S CYCLES. THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST!

Just dropped in for advice and information about the MiRide bikes. Tom was totally professional, very friendly and non salesy and answered all my questions and even gave me a test ride. Highly recommended.

I dropped a bike to be checked and have the brake cable changed last Sunday. The bike was picked up 3 days after ( I assumed the bike was fine as I just paid 80quid for a check and the brake cables) back home I realised that a lot of the screws and bolds were missing, the mud guard was hanging with only 1 screw left. When I returned the bike I basically had to convince the 2 sales persons that I was t the one who has damaged the bike, and after having to deal with a lot of attitude they accepted to fix the bike. They didn’t seem to feel bad about it and I didn’t have any excuse.
I won’t go back to that shop and I ll make sure to pass the word.

Excellent! I recently had my bike serviced and was delighted with the pleasant customer service (bike was collected from my home and returned), and work done has made my bike a joy to ride again, and a great standard of work. I definitely will be returning. Highly recommended.

Today I had a problem with my bike, I was around Twickenham, looking for someone to fix a little problem with my bike, I visited 2 larger bike shops and they both said that the best they can do is in 2 moths. So I thought I might give a try to some smaller shop which is why I came here, also very busy but they were able to help me out while waiting. I would strongly recommend the service but not just that they sell some nice bike components and bikes in general, has great parking places.

Needed my mountain bike looking at on short notice on my lunch break in order to be able to cycle home after work. Was very pleased that they could fit me in and get the work done quickly to a very high standard and for a reasonable price.

Very happy to recommend them :-)
