Great service from this lovely place even though it was really busy. The food was delicious great menu & nothing too much trouble. We wanted to sit in the window and the manager certainly made it happen, a really cheerful guy who was wiping tables, chatting to customers & knew what was happening & had it all sorted.
Staff very friendly & working hard too.
Great atmosphere thank you for looking after us we will be back.

Always love this place for a quick bite to eat. Nice menu selection and always busy on the weekend.

I can’t thank the team enough. We held my friends baby shower here and everyone was so helpful and accommodating letting us go early to set up.
The afternoon tea was delicious and the manager really helpful answering any questions I had leading up to the day.

Absolutely delicious brunch had here. The Penny Farthing breakfast was amazing. Best black pudding taste I've ever had. Gluten free breakfast available too. A must if you're in Cowbridge!

Lovely place and delicious food. The service was excellent even though it was extremely busy. Good choice of food too. Been several times and they never disappoint. We will be back.

We just had the lemon merengue pie and coffee. However it was a great homemade lemon merengue and a good portion.

Such a disappointing experience here today!! Between queuing outside on the pavement to get in and actually getting our food, took a good hour! Yes it's Christmas Eve and yes they were busy initially when we got there but that is no excuse. Every customer should be valued and we most definitely were not. We were made to feel invisible.

When we finally got a table for 2, we were handed menus, quickly made our choices of a plant based breakfast with a hard fried egg and a gluten free breakfast with 2 teas. Had to wait quite a while before anyone came to take our order.
Then we waited and waited and waited! We saw people who had come in after us receive their hot drinks yet still we had nothing! They also received apologies for the delay, nobody had the courtesy to do that to us. I eventually flagged down a passing waitress and asked if we could at the very least get our cups of tea! This was brought to our table after I had asked for it, but no apology for the delay.
Our food eventually arrived, my plant based breakfast was missing the vegetarian sausage, so I pointed this out to a waiter. He came back with a pork sausage(!) so I pointed out that I had a vegetarian meal....he finally came back with a vegetarian sausage. There was nothing on the plate to warrant what I was being charged for this very meagre portion! A few measly beans, a fried egg which I was charged an extra £1.50 for and couldn't eat because it was runny despite me specifically saying I needed it hard and not runny! A lump of cold avocado, lump of soggy spinach, 2 bits of small toast and a couple of mushrooms. Both our breakfasts were barely warm and quite unappetising.
By this point we were losing the will to live and what should have been a nice Christmas eve treat was well and truly spoilt.
I paid almost £30 for this below par food and sloppy indifferent service! Never have I felt more ripped off and undervalued. We won't be returning.
