Complete rip off. Was given a terrible quotation and assured £2000 was the normal price for blinds and would have to be ordered from China!
Went to a local one and had lovely blinds for £600. Don’t be ripped off.

however my original order date was canceled as material had not turned up, I contacted the company to ensure the material was in and was told I would have a call back once it was they did not. this reqiered a further 2 calls from myself and even then I was not told I was a pm fitting untill I rang the afternoon off fitting day to see where the delivery was the comunication is very very poor

Bought Solar own brand equivalent of Luxaflex Silhouette. The quality of blinds is superb. Fitting was quick, friendly and well executed. Advice and guidance in the show room was impressive with no hard sell. Pricing was very competitive. The telephone reception personnel were not always as friendly and customer focussed as the rest of the team. I recommend Solar and would not hesitate to buy blinds from this company again in the future.

My contact was with Rachel Bluck in (Sloper Road) CARDIFF store. Excellent service. Samples sent to my home for me to make final decisions. They came out to measure windows, and when made, came to fit/hang. Very impressed with the quality. Have recommended to two friends already.

We were interested in getting an awning and asked this company to come and quote for us. This they duly did, and the quote was competitive and within our budget. The guy that came was knowledgeable and certainly knew his stuff. After all the quotes we had from various companies, this was the one we like the best, and we ordered. We were told it would probably take about 6 weeks and we were happy with this, seeing as summer had finished.
Anyway, fast forward to today, and today was the day the awning was fitted. The team arrived in three vans and got to work. They were efficient and completed the work in a couple of hours.
The only thing I can say that I wasn’t too impressed with was that they didn’t clean up after themselves. They left the dust from drilling into the walls all over the tiled area outside, and my dining room carpet where the wiring went through the wall. I think the wiring through the wall could have looked a bit tidier and it was not properly pinned. Only small gripes, but the difference between a good review and a fantastic review.
The work itself was great and I would recommend them.

The service from start to finish was excellent. The quality of workmanship five star and would definitely recommend the company.

Had a quote from solar, bay window 5 taped venetian blinds around 60cm x 180 drop, £300 per blind!! That makes £1500 per bay window...is this a joke!!
