Cambrian Boats Ltd

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! Called to talk about a 150k boat and was told it was still for sale after a gentleman before me had turned it down. Time of conversation 11AM. Expressed serious interest in the boat and was asked to send pictures and with details of our trade in boat. Prices agreed, discussed delivery of both boats and costs and arranged viewing for the following morning 9.00AM. Was told nobody else would be seeing the boat before us so it was good to go and how Robin MD and salesman was now off work for the rest of the day. Then at 6pm the same day I get a call saying the previous potential buyer has miraculously called him, said he will now have the boat and AND! sent a 10% deposit over!!!!!....... all out of work hours, and with Robin off work and the purchaser didn't have any bank account details!!.... In 25 years of dealing in high value asset sales and commodities YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS LIKE THAT! if someone has said no and a appointment is booked by another potential client of for the following day the professional courteous approach would of been to inform the previous buyer that due to him saying no another appointment had now been booked and subject to that if the boat isn't sold he would call him and give him a second opportunity. But thats not how these guys roll. I wouldn't of minded but we hadn't even been given a opportunity to place a deposit which we would of happily done to secure the boat. I have only once before left a review to warn people of bad business people and im deeply saddened that I have to do this again but be warned! if they do this what else would they do? what other corners would they cut??!! boat service? repair work? I wouldn't trust these people with my money! disgusting customer service PS: I had to give one star otherwise I couldn't leave this review.

I recently had the pleasure of buying a Leader 10 from Robin at Cambrian Boats. A knowledgeable and a genuine guy he made the whole process very easy. Even some minor issues after delivery were backed up. Would not hesitate in recommending Robin @Cambrian boats or doing business with him again. RS

Alana gave me 5 ⭐️ Customer service, from the point of contact, boat details, sending additional pictures on my request, letting me view the boat on a Sunday, making me a drink when I was viewing the boat to the final payment transaction. Robin was kind enough to launch my newly purchased boat after running through things with me.
I had a great experience dealing with Cambrian Boat Sales and would definitely contact them if I sell the boat I’ve just purchased to upgrade. I’m very happy with my purchase, the whole family are.

Buying our little Quicksilver 530 has been great. The purchase was made effortless and a pleasure. We were lucky to have a warranty and had occasion to have to use it over a minor issue and that was resolved very quickly and without fuss even in lockdown.
I would recommend Cambrian Boats and would use them in future.
