We had a lovely holiday on narrowboat Blossom in early October. Garry and Kym took a lot of care in explaining everything at the handover. Blossom performed faultlessly and is a very comfortable boat for two people. The log burning fire made it warm and cosy in the evenings. The Lancaster canal is truly beautiful especially in Autumn. A great holiday and we will certainly be back.

If, like us, you've idly admired beautiful narrow boats whilst walking near canals, this fabulous boat and the Lancaster canal are a brilliant place to start. The encouragement from the first contact with Kim to the concise but full handover from Garry provided the confidence which led to a hugely enjoyable 5 day trip on the longest canal stretch with no locks, making it easy for first timers.
It helped that we had decent weather to enjoy amazing autumn colours and the Lune aqueduct and Deep cutting south of Lancaster were highlights, but the best bit was lighting the stove when we moored up each night and enjoying the cosy, well-equipped and surprisingly spacious boat.

We had a lovely week on Blossom 2 adults, 1 dog. The weather was kind to us.The narrowboat has everything you could think of for a week on the canal and more. The owners are delightful and could not do enough for you.

Just returned from a week on Blossom and already boat sick😂. Kim & Gary made us feel very welcome and provided us with a very smooth and informative handover. Blossom has everything you need and more even down to dog treats for Boris and ground coffee for Phil. The Lancashire folk are very friendly and the canal is very scenic. This was a trial for me as we are seriously considering buying a boat to live on and we are fully converted😂 Blossom is ideal for first timers as there are no locks and the canal is very quiet. Located just north of Carnforth at Tewitfield Marina is Blossom Narrowboat owned by Kim and Dad Gary. We got full instructions by Gary who was a delight. What a peaceful way to relax for a week, the boat even had a wood burner with logs supplied. Blossom was easy to handle and had everything you needed for two people, great time, thankyou Kim and Gary.

Blossom is an absolute gem of a boat on a really pretty canal with the added bonus of it being quiet compared to other canals. Kim and Gary are a wonderful team who are there to support and help whenever you need them. The boat is well equipped with everything you could need for a lovely relaxing holiday. This is our second holiday on Blossom and we will be coming back again. Thank you so much for such a fabulous holiday 😊

Me and my husband decided to stay on blossom for our 25th wedding anniversary as its our favourite canel and we love staying on blossom there is everything u and lovely and cleanneed and if anything is wrong or goes wrong gary and kim are not very far away to help u get to see lots of wild life and lovely scenery u could be in the south of France we are so lucky to live in such a lovely area we won't be long till we book again
