Sutton Wharf Boatyard

A friendly and helpful boatyard for short or long stays. Everything you need getting ready for your next trip. Floating and dry berths as well as haul out facilities. What they don't have they'll get for you!

Spent a fair bit of time on the yard, and is a good place to either store or have boats repaired. Various facilities including toilets, security, boat lifting (though limited to 40 tons), friendly staff and management, some nice views, and not to far from local amenities for repairs. If i lived closer and got a boat again would store here.

Very hard working and friendly staff. Excellent facilities for boat repairs and maintenance. Also for boat and yacht storage of all sizes. A good boat yard was good people

Second time around for us and again you cannot fault Nigel and the staff or the facilities. Good community spirit too. Great place to get work done and to meet helpful and interesting people.

Very busy boat yard nicely situated at the end of the river

All very helpful and efficient.

Loads of boats in the yard, being stored and some worked on. For winter work scaffolding and plastic sheeting protects the work area.
Sizeable ramp, trolley and crane for taking boats out of the water.
Several large pontoons for mooring with finger pontoons for easier access.
This is a tidal yard with mud base. Tide leaves the boats dry twice a day.
Access by road not clearly sign posted, last stretch unmade road and limited public parking.

Good inexpensive place.
