This book dealer is unique. I enquired about a book to discover they had two copies. On voicing concern as another dealer had just sent me two copies which were unfit for charity shops so poor they, were the person I spoke to, Aimee, offered to get the books photographed and email me pictures to guide my choice. This happened and the books were ordered by me.
I have have never had this level of service from any book dealer and want share this unique positive experience.

What a fantastic, professional and helpful organization. I purchased a very rare book via abebooks from them that was described as used and ex-library edition. I asked them to send me more pics of book before purchasing it. They replied with the pics the next day. I recieved the book within 5 days all the way to India.

Pros:
1- They reply. They are very responsive.
2- You can ask for pics before purchasing to know the actual look of book.
3- They even give discount on shipping but always use express tracking services of reputed couriers like dhl etc.
4- The cost of books is less.

Cons:
to be honest none really except that packaging of books can be improved.

My suggestion to organisation:
They should get right to make digital copies of books and sell those online. This way no need of shipping cost.

Final word:
If you see the book you want on anybook(dot)biz, just go for it.

After purchasing the book, Anybook requested an extra shipping charge, because they miscalculated the book's weight. Another option was to cancel the order, which I didn't want to do, so I ended up paying for Anybook's mistakes.

Great service and price. Sold as 'good' and ex-library but,that was only partly true. Ex-library yes but only because of bar code. Good was way off,as it's like new! Many thanks.

I got a pretty obscure book about naval navigation (history and practical), published in 1951. It being an ex library book, its cover is not unexpectedly worn a bit on the edges and the spine may be a little weak. But it is a gem, at least in my eye. I ordered on Amazon (sorry, but that’s how I could find it) just a couple of weeks ago, and it showed up in Portland, Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest in what I would say is very quick time. Thanks so very much.
I love the connections to, and interior evidence of, the library use. There is even a library sleeve and card inside with checkout information dating back to 1960! Very fun.

Misrepresented condition as very good-it was moldy.
They didn't get back with me when I contacted them about it.
After purchasing, the receipt warned, "no returns."
When I asked for a tracking number, I was told to contact Alibris. What do you think?
$30, a month later, a very moldy smelling book, and no refund or answer yet to my email-my money is being held hostage....consumer terrorism.

Anybook.biz is a fantastic way to buy inexpensive fine academic books!

Transportation costs can be troubling though if you do not live in the UK!
