This place is totally amazing. Help is always on hand so you can find something either for yourself or the kids and Richard always engages with the children and asks them the sort of things that they like and will recommend. I honestly think that this is my favourite shop in the UK and Wadhurst is so lucky to have it in the High Street. They also do a super quick ordering service that comes the next day. Just as quick as amazon! And if you pop in it's great for a browse. Places like this don't exist anymore so enjoy it!

Just a wonderful village bookshop with a owner who could not be more helpful

An outstanding bookshop. The shelves are always well stocked with interesting books in lots of categories, the staff are unfailingly helpful, and the window displays are bright, colourful and enticing. We are very lucky to have such a bookshop in Wadhurst.
