Loved my visit here. It's a true explosion of history and knowledge. You just can't beat a good local book store that hasn't been sanitised into what is normal on our high streets.

I would wholly recommend a visit, take your kids with you and let them see how pleasurable it is to hold & read a good book!

I remember buying books here many years ago and I was amazed to find, on my recent revisit that it seemed even bigger than i remember from years before. When you enter it seems tiny - then you see a doorway to another room, then another and yet another - almost as if you are being led deep into a warren filled with books. There are so many interesting books here and prices seem very reasonable - especially from the bargain shelves in front of the shop.

Definition of what a second hand bookshop should be - could get lost in here forever, and I'm always surprised at how reasonable the prices are too

So many second hand books to browse here, in a large shop with really interesting decor to see as you wonder around the shelves.

This place is absolutely wonderful. From the appearance outside of the building, I did not expect the intriguing maze that led me through to see the most wonderful delights.

Not only are there a colossal amounts of books to see, but there are interesting paintings and even items to see on the ceiling.

One could spend hours in this place and it is worth paying numerous visits to The Petersfield Bookshop.
