Brilliant range of books and book related gifts for all ages. Downstairs is a big children's section as well as large cookery book area.

Ordered something in July. It's September and it hasn't arrived. Store isn't able to do anything just say get hold of customer services. Customer services impossible to contact. There is no email. The phone line doesnt ring - they say on the message they've closed them. There is no live chat option. Been trying to chase for a few weeks. Given up. :(

Nice bookshop but the whole point is to be able to buy a book. And if there's an issue someone could have contacted me or at the very least I should or the staff should be able to do something.

Wish I could spend more time dipping into the amazing range of books. Nice to see that so many people still prefer real books! Clear signage & you can read in the café. A quietish haven in the city..just a pity you have to get through such a busy area to access it; I'd like to see a branch on the edge of the parks in Southampton..more conducive to reading!

Full disclosure, I did not visit Waterstones for the books, but for a coffee. But if it's book's that you are after, they have a lot of them. As far as the coffee shop goes, it has recently been refurbished and enlarged. So it's bright and clean and spacious. It has a small outside seating area, which I believe makes it the only café in West Quays that can boast that.

Tucked near the stairs of west quay. Waterstones has its own mini cafe. Such a perfect place to hang out when you wanna star reading on the new book you have got while having some coffee or tea with pastries.

We sat outside and the wind was very lovely as our drinks helped us warm up. Looking at people pass by and just breathing in some fresh air while chatting with your loved ones and having some refteshments. :)

It feels very open plan. Doesn't have that cosy feeling anymore. You can feel the cold easily every time someone opens the door unless you manage to sit in one of the booths. Still, lovely staff and reasonably priced .

My favourite place in West Quay mall.
Buy a book (or bring your own), a coffee and maybe a snack, have a seat and enjoy a few relaxing moments with the white noise of people chatting quietly on the background.
I wish I could do it more often.

I urgently needed to buy a book for Christmas and the one I wanted wasn’t in stock. Despite it being busy, the man behind the counter (with a beard and glasses, don’t know his name) very kindly took the time to recommend and find an alternative which I think my dad will enjoy. Thank you - this saved my Xmas!
