South Kensington Books

A quaint little bookstore located in the upscale Kensington neighborhood. Walkable from the Underground station. A good collection of fiction and nonfiction books. And an enviable collection of art posters. I liked their nonfiction collection a lot as it had many books which I had not even heard of even though am an avid reader and follower of books. A little squeezed out towards the further end of the store, so may have to take off your bags for other's convenience. I wish there more quirky London based magazines to choose from. I could only find one, named "London Magazine" of 1700s. Overall a memorable experience.

Awesome bookstore, I got a promotion, 4 fiction titles for 10£, totally unbelievable. They’ve got a good selection with different titles, shout-out to the travel section, it seemed quite big and diversified.

One of my favourite bookstores in London. They have an amazing selection of art and history books despite the fact the shop itself is quite small. Also the books are much cheaper than buying from other bookstores for some reason, which is great!! If you find a book that you’re interested in, don’t hesitate to buy it. Most likely you won’t find it again next time you revisit.

This is everything a good bookshop should be. The selection is well-curated and well-presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are great - in particular the 3 for £9 fiction shelf, although I'd also mention that when I enquired after a slightly worn history book I was offered a 10% discount on the spot.

Very extensive range of cards. Shapes and prices. Looking for that centenarian birthday, all cards here. We specially liked the boxed cards. The shop has other items on sale, worth coming in and browse.

I love this shop. I go here all the time. The books are always best and it's a great place to shop.
