A characterful second hand bookshop tucked away at the far end of Camden Lock Market. Black Gull is filled wall to ceiling with unexpected finds and tempting bargains. The stands outside include a bountiful crime fiction section, and inside there are particularly good stocks of music, hardback art books, religion and mysticism and the unusual category of "sex and drugs and rock and roll" as well as general fiction. Quirky pictures, masks, trinkets and other objets d'art complete the slightly spooky ambience.

Enjoyed exploring this small family-owned bookshop. Old and new books and some cool vintage items as well. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

A little overcrowded and chaotic, so can be difficult to really take time and look through all there is to offer. Great location right off of the market and main seating area in front of the docks.

It’s small, but has a nice collection of used books. Managed to find a couple of volumes from my bucket list.
