Wow stopped on way to holiday as son wanted toilet and we needed a drink and didnt realise what it was! Ended up staying 2 hours . Amazing and wonderful . Any book you can think of and dedicated children's area with games to play too. We had Lovely soup and cakes in the cafe. So glad we stopped, got some great books too!

Very lovely second hand bookshop and great cafe! The staff are kind and friendly, and although the prices are sometimes a little high for second hand books the stock is great and food is delicious.

I would highly recommend that you make this quaint stop a destination on your journey!

A wonderful book shop & tea Rooms hidden away in North Herefordshire. Nice stop off for tea & cake if your in the area. Events on over the year. We always do the English civil war event here The siege of Brampton Bryan castle. Look on the website to see what's happening

Autumn boot sale in the field and hardstanding car park areas was a great success - lots of stalls stocked with quality items. Enjoyed tasty latte indoors. Lady playing an accordion- Parisien atmosphere. Amiable polite fun sellers and buyers. Great event.

Excellent place to rootle round at the weekend. The owner took time to have a conversation with my grandchild which impressed me! Good cake and tea ..and a wonderful scenic journey through the borders to get there.

A delightful place to get lost for a few hours! The prices are very reasonable & they have a wonderful selection of vintage books...

Not the best selection of books, normally I can't enter a bookstore without finding half a dozen titles to buy, also quite overpriced for what it is. A cold store too, and I'm not overly bothered by the cold, didn't help to make me want to go back when I can go to a Waterstones or a Barnes and Noble and get a wider variety of books in a warmer atmosphere!
