Wonderful retreat in the centre of Bury. Bookworming at length in the helpfully arranged shelves followed by delicious coffee upstairs in the cosy cafe to read at leisure. Courteous and helpful staff to boot. A great way to spend a winters afternoon.

I love the atmosphere of this place. I could spend all day in here, reading the backs of books and finding new things to read. The staff is always so helpful and I enjoy receiving awards. Make sure you sign up for a membership card…it’s free!
