Made to feel extremely unwelcome after entering the shop through an inviting open door, having not seen the one way system that starts somewhere else. The staff ridiculed my lack of observation, pointing at a sign high above the door and a sticker on the floor. Fine, the signs are clear when you find them and take your eyes away from the books and other displays. For this I apologise. However, please realise we are all doing our best and this level of fierceness is really not appropriate. Try kindness and patience - please allow for us he failings of others because we are all easily wrong footed. I came to Llanrwst with a great deal of interest in its history, and your shop would have been a lovely place to browse and spend some money, if you only allowed more than a moment to help me with your covid arrangements.

I visited this shop with my family after the children saw some toys in the window. Unfortunately, the shop wasn't quite as child friendly as their window display suggested. From the moment we walked in, the owner made us feel uncomfortable, scrutinising our every move and commenting on everything we stopped to look at. My son is clearly very ill as he has leukaemia, and this was our one weekend away in the whole year, so he wanted to buy something with a Welsh Dragon on to take home. He wasn't misbehaving in any capacity, but the owner felt it was her right to scold him for picking things up to look at. Needless to say, we left very promptly and didn't purchase a thing. Shocking customer service, rude owner, would advise to avoid at all costs.
