I like this store. There is a very large collection of books I've not found anywhere else around Cardiff. I stayed exclusively around the wall of the books, but I could tell there was a very large stock of other items, of clothes and accessories and scents. I am not a Muslim, as I purchased a book the owner stopped me before I left and got who I believe was his son to give me a business card of the store, and two informative little pamphlets on Islam, he then told me "Read. Knowledge. Good." Which I appreciated.

My wife was in jannat sarees across the road, I didn’t feel comfortable going in there with her so I parked outside sawtul Islam shop. My little girl was asleep in the car and she woke up at that time so I decided to go and browse in the shop holding my little girl picked up in my arm.
Old man in shop looked respectful and religious, when he approached to assist me, I told him I’m looking for a bangla book about general Islamic life for my wife, old man replied why don’t my wife come in and have a look for herself? I replied she’s in another shop now and she is shy to come in here, old man replied, women aren’t shy to go everywhere else where a stranger man looks them up and down but they are shy to come in an Islamic shop. (is this wrong or is it just me?) I replied to the old man do you know where my wife is? He said no! I replied how do you know a man is looking her up and down, old man replied he is referring to other women?? I told him to be very mindful of what he talks about I’m not here to discuss dirty talk with you. Very deceiving old man I have no respect for ill mannered rude people! May Allah guide this twisted individual. Absolutely vile and lowest level character I’ve ever come across, He didn’t respect my little girl she understands bangali well. He didn’t even apologise to me. I was very angry inside and still can’t believe what he said! Old man is extremely lucky that I’m not hot headed. TO OLD MANS FAMILY MEMBERS CHECK THE SHOP CCTV!

Great selection of books, (the best place in cardiff for Islamic literature) plenty of perfumes, bakhoor, thobes for men and children, womens clothing and so much more for great prices.
