Book-ish

Books and coffee is a winning combination. Bookish has an excellent selection of books in the front and a decent cafe in the rear. Great coffee from Black Mountain Roast and some really good cakes too!

Bookish is an example of a book shop and cafe that is in a few places in the Brecon Beacons. They have a good range of books and cakes. A great place to stop for coffee and cake after visiting the bluebell wood.

Beautiful, intimate bookshop with a lovely cafe. The staff are so helpful and really knowledgeable. There's a great selection of books and they hold some fantastic author events and writing workshops. Its my new favourite bookshop!

My Sister had lunch in here and it was lovely. The staff are ever so kind and efficient. We had our meals quickly and they were really tasty and hot. After lunch we had a cappuccino, it was really frothy, exactly as it should be and had loads of chocolate sprinkles on top, more importantly, it was really hot, right until the end. I hate when your coffee gets cold halfway through. Well this coffee didn't get cold, it was lovely. All in all we had a fabulous meal, excellent coffee, all in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Absolutely perfect.

Called in for a coffee and a toasted teacake , !! The staff were polite and went out of their way to serve you ( but no Tea cakes they even went to the Bakery but none) so had a big I mean BIG slice of cake . Great little place for a snack. Would recommend you all to try it if you are in Crickhowell

Amazing set up and lovely cakes. Coffee was great for coffee served in a book shop but nothing special. Otherwise excellent experience

Me and my girlfriend visited here while at a festival and the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was also delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back when we visit Crickhowell again (which will be soon I hope).

We visit a lot of book shops and this one is definitely one of our favourites. A beautifully curated selection of books with a fantastic cafe next door.
