Hollywood Bowl Taunton

Bowled with family of 4 (mum, dad & our 2 children), good level access but doors into and out of venue are heavy. Disabled parking is on the side of the venue rather than the front.
Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.
Can't comment on food or amusements as we didn't use the diner or the arcade.

The lanes need redoing, ours was warped. Also, replacing the pin system so the pins are on strings means that serious bowlers will probably want to go elsewhere.

Having said that, it's still good fun. Staff can sometimes be friendly, and there is lots to keep you entertained.

Awesome place for whole family. Lots of parking spaces, nice arcade area, good food, child friendly.

Good place for bowling. They have lots of lanes and also other games. They serve food as well as drinks and you can prebook even with the names. We had nachos and chicken stripes that were actually good.

Lovely place to bowl as a family. Loved the disco theme in the day, made it more fun. Food was nice, but a 30-minute wait. Then a 30 minute wait for ice cream. Quing for a drink at the bar was an age, took so long. Very, very short staffed here. 4 people doing all the work. Hats off to them. You need to employ more people.

Big bowling centre,plenty of lanes.
Arcade also in the building and a small restaurant with a basic menu.
They even have several Pool tables.
Toilets and disabled toilet available.
Prices are reasonable and they always have loads of offers going.
Staff have always been nice and helpful and we have never had any issues.

Some glasses were dirty but food was good especially the chicken stripes. There are several games apart from bowling available like basketball and ice hockey. Regarding bowling itself which what we did, you can take a picture of yourself but it is not automatically displayed in the screen so I don’t see the point of doing it. The pins were tied ti the top with a rope so some movements were a bit odd and the machine didn’t count a couple of shots for no reason. Not as good as the bowling places available in Bristol but good enough for some quick fun with friends in the Bridgwater area.
