London Community Boxing

Thanks all at LCB you're doing an amazing job. Still aching from those sprints, but I'll be back next Friday.

I found LCB on Google 6 months ago when I was looking for a boxing gym and went down to see the team. I'd not been in the best physical and mental shape I'd ever been in.
Hilary welcomed me and took me though an induction. I do Boxing Fitness classes with Ricardo and Chris - they're both inclusive coaches that push you to do the best you can, whatever your starting point is. Leigh and the whole team at LCB are awesome - so awesome that I started volunteering here.
If you want to get fit, have fun and learn a new skill that also helps promote discipline, then come in and you'll always be welcomed!

Another community Jewel. If you are local, get down there. Kids classes as well.

On an initial look the staff seemed friendly, the club was a reasonable size and I hope to be going back in the near future for some training and sparring.

It's always good to see another Irish fighter, she's prettier than me but never underestimate an opponent.

I've edited this review, it was positive with 5 stars before but now... as u can see 1 star, I'd give no stars if possible...

Saturday 10th october my son was about to attend his 12pm class, hes been going for a few weeks. He walked in ready and we were told theres no 12pm class, its 12:15 and all classes are booked. I said I've booked for 12pm classes a long while back and hes been every Saturday at 12pm. Well its 12:15 classes and there all booked so...
I said there was no phone call or email communication to say this has changed and they just ignored what I said and repeated classes are 12:15.

We walked out never to go that place again, we'll look for another place hopefully with better customer service and communication.

Good trainers. Decent gym. Sparring available when virus allows. Ace.

We used this gym in the past and had some great experiences with staff. However a few months ago the usual staff were off for a number of reasons. Things have gone downhill since. Rude staff, during a children's session the teacher was on his phone beefing with a friend and swearing and obviously flouting safeguarding! I was made aware by my son and another parent and I approached the man at reception and the teacher and was dealt with aggressively. I spoke with Carter who said it would not happen again. But it did and a few weeks later. Made a formal complaint but the response was mediocre and attempts to follow this up with management have been ignored. AVOID. They do not do their best to keep children safe and do not take concerns raised seriously. Such as shame.
