My second visit to mad squirrel and there beers are the squirrels nuts. Hopfest is now one of my favorite beers. No its my favorite closely followed by today's purchase Roadkill first time I have had an opaque beer simply superb. The bitter mister squirrel really good and could drink all above quite happily all night. Really looking forward to trying Sumo the only one I have not tasted yet. But if its anything like the others then I like it already. Oh and the stout and porter really nice. Can't wait for all the beers in cans. All my beer heads gonna get some for Xmas. Go there buy beer and enjoy the taste explosion. D

I visited on Easter bank holiday when they released a white-chocolate-stout. It was busy in the afternoon with a live band playing and free chocolate and beer tasting/pairing session. Looking at my till reciept I seam to have spent more than was senseable!
Still love their sumo.

A local brewery than has been expanding non stop for 8 years. Come here, try the beer and get a taste of what's in town. A Hemel Hempstead gem located in the neighborhood brings only great tasting beer to everyone who visits.

This location has brewery tanks to make the beer, pizza ovens, and plenty of seats. Although this location has less than the normal amount of beers on tap than the other locations I do not see why you wouldn't visit.

The beers I tasted varied from easy drinking to the famous double IPA where you would just spend more talking with friends than reading this review. Flights of beer are available to taste all the beers. I tasted 6 of them and loved the passion put into each.

The brewery is open to sharing information about how the brewery started and all the details on how they made it to this brew house. I tried their number one seller the "Sumo" and I can tell you it's easier to drink but it is not their best beer. I would reserve the "best beer" for the "Roadkill" which was true to style with a full flavor.

I don't think I haven't tasted all the breweries in Hemel Hempstead but I have to imagine this is among the best. Great staff, tasty beers, and plenty of seating. I'm looking forward to going back again.

Great beer, other drinks available. Pizza available too, friendly staff and did I mention great beer. All their familiar brews and a number of special brews for the decerning beer drinker. Talus More, New England Pale Ale, is a great addition and on the list.Having a local brewery is great, but one that provides such a diverse number of brews is special with a number tap rooms in the local area, what are you doing , don't read this get to the bar .

Lovely little tap room with a good selection of beers on tap and in the fridge. Didn't have any of the food they had available but it's nice that they have food on the premise.

They are nice. Their customer service is friendly and their beers are very good quality, real craft beers. And they are the only brewery in the UK that can brew a good quality Radler. I  can recommend them. The only thing that they should improve: they should brew a vegan stout without a lactose as all of their stouts contain lactose. But this is just my idea. They definitely deserve 5 stars. :)
