It's beer, that's all you need to know! Beer! And bloody good stuff too. The shop staff will answer any questions you have and I don't know if they do any tasters I'm the shop as I'd already tasted in pubs etc recommend the Wolf Rock by the way. One visit to the shop and you'll be sorted for beer for the rest of your visit in Cornwall Hic!

I was excited about coming here - but the range is limited (I was hoping more low volume beers from the microbrewery would be available). But it's just a shop that sells mainstream Sharp's beers. Not much effort made - the interior is nice. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed. I was expecting a tap room with special edition beers etc. If l just wanted bang average doom bar I could pop to Tesco.

Well what can I say. One keg of Doombar, one keg of Atlantic travelling back to Bristol with me to enjoy in the sun for the next 3 days. Staff are amazing as usual. A big welcome to Sam who I am sure will fit in well, nice to meet you mate. If your anywhere near Padstow pop in to the shop and grab some sharps ales. Thanks guys. See you soon.

Doom bar is a good pint, I often quaff it in Spoons.

Many of these reviews are for the beer, not the brewer/shop, this is for the brewery shop near Rock in Cornwall. The shop is open, but not really. The door is blocked by a table and you order from a list. I was hoping for a taproom, or at least a chance to peruse the shop and pick up some specials that Sharps brew, those I cannot get in any supermarket basically.

On the list, they had none of this, only their mainline beers, all readily available at a supermarket. You had to buy in quantity too, as was more expensive than the supermarket. They brew a cider, we'd hoped at least for that, but they only had Aspalls. They did have other beers that their owner produces, again, all supermarket available.

We left without spending, it's a fair trek out the way. I'd suggest just going to the supermarket if you wanted their beer, and if you wanted a taproom and good shop, head to another place
