That was a very good quality tour, but not on the outstanding side. If you want to learn about how beer is made you should visit rather Fuller's in Hammersmith or Guinness in Dublin. The guide Menon was a very knowledgeable and fool of passion and a personality. We tasted five different beers, but all of them for me was a very similar. Definitely you can recognized a style of this brewery based on German Pilsner lager school. Well balanced but more on the diluted, easy to drinking style, definitely that wasn't my cup of tea. :-)
The room tasting is seraunded by bottles of beers from Michael Jackson collection.
4,6 points from me.

"Meantime Brewing Company is a brewery based in Greenwich, London, England. The company was founded by Alastair Hook in 2000, and was purchased by SABMiller in May 2015.
As part of the agreements made with regulators before Anheuser-Busch InBev was allowed to acquire SABMiller in 2016, Meantime Brewery was sold to Asahi Breweries of Japan in October 2016."
It is one of the global cash cow businesses.

Decent stop, quite hidden away from the trail though. If you don't mind that they're owned by Ashai this is a good little taproom with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Beer range is good with a nice variety although we had just missed out on a Black IPA there were some other great choices such as a Bock at 8% and a lovely stronger version of their red ale too.

Bar snacks served - pipers crisps
A full menu is also available although I didn't try it on this occasion as didn't have time.

Would reccomend, especially If you're new to or curious about becoming more into craft beers.

Closest transport from Meantime -

London buses which stop near the brewery.

Closest Underground station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line and then catch a bus or taxi.

Closest DLR station is Cutty Sark for Martime Greenwich and then walk past the Cutty Sark and down the Thames pathway.

Friendly helpful staff and cracking beer brewed on the premises in Greenwich , can highly recommend the chocolate porter ! I drove out of my way to purchase this delicious dark beer. Also worth a look is the exterior and roof of Rotherbury Hall next door, Victorian architecture at its finest

Decent spot for a few pints if you're on your way to an event at the O2. It's a 20 minute walk away, or a couple of stops on the bus.
Limited outdoor seating although there's plenty of space to provide more. Beer selection was decent, although I'm not a massive fan of their offerings in general, but there's something for most people. They did have a very pleasant red ale on offer which was tasty and a couple of reasonable IPAs.
Didn't eat here, but plenty of people were when we visited.
Not the cheapest brewery to drink at, but not bad all round.

This was a fantastic experience. We went here on a Saturday afternoon, and we were thoroughly impressed. The tour is well organised and informative. The guide was very engaging and explained the history of beer and the brewery really well. There were plenty of opportunities to try some of the beers and a great bar that was attached. It felt very chilled out and relaxed and informal. The tour goes through the whole factory and they allow you to look at most things. I’d just caution that this is a working factory, so be careful not to trip, slip or fall over anything. And obviously don’t press any of the buttons! However, I’d definitely recommend this.

After purchasing some beers from the website, I had an issue with the contents delivered and contacted their Brewery Experience administrator.
The issue was dealt with swiftly, kindly and to my satisfaction.
My confidence in the company completely restored, I am happy to give my glowing endorsement.

If you wanna get a bit tipsy, I mean taste some wonderful beer, get a shop discount, have a great tour of the brewery with an exceptional tour guide and guess which bottle of beer costs £2500 then boy this place is the place for you. Meantime make some great beers and they are definitely worth experiencing! Next time I'm at the O2 for Paramore in April, I will 100% be dropping in.

Disclaimer: Don't drink any of the liquids you may find dripping from stuff or liquids on the floor. I got told said liquids are not beer and not safe for consumption. Which is a shame because raining beer sounds great.

A good stop for our trip in Greenwich. The food is good (good portion of white bait, which is our favourite snack) the Yakima red bbq sauce is really good, would be happy to buy a bottle of it if they sell it. The hot wings are hot enough for someone grown up eating spicy food. Beer is not top notch for craft beer standard but good for someone who’s new to craft beer, my favourite is Yakima red which is their red ale. They also offer brewery tour which we have never been, seems popular though.
