Update - review upgraded from 1* to 2* because the bill was comped as an apology but it doesn't make up for the wasted time and ruined Mother's Day.
The experience was made extra spiecal by or server Jess, she was a fountain of knowledge, friendly and so easy to get along with, it was like sitting with an old friend.
Paid £250 to cater for 20 - which was served on just 6 dinner plates. Bruschetta wasn't even cooked and actually frozen in the middle, straight from Iceland it seems. Received about a fifth of the amount of food required - the £250 price for this was obscene, horrific and embarrassing - for 6 plates, two of them chips.
Then told it was last orders at 10.30pm, no interest in ensuring guests feel welcome or valued at all.
Such an awful experience we won't even return for a pint. Shame as we had a brilliant Christmas party here in 2019, with huge, generously portioned catering trays of hot food, which is why we booked now, but quality has fallen off a cliff while charging more!
Currently awaiting refund to process, but that doesn't mitigate the total embarrassment of the situation in front of our clients, absolute cringe.
Honestly cannot believe they tried to take £250 of our small business income for this, shameful.
Anyway since we used the App to order online, customer service was downhill as they don’t really care anymore! Nobody even checked back to see if everything is alright with the food! When the waiter brought the drinks over he asked us to take them from the tray so he doesn’t touch the glasses but then if you think about it… who placed them on the tray first instance :))) , that didn’t make sense at all
My husband ordered the double cheeseburger however the patty I believe was cut in two (were extremely thin)
Very small portions if you consider those as mains!
