WOW!!! What a day.We gave the team @ brides of Southampton the impossible task of helping the bride to be find a dress with only 10 days notice. My goodness did they deliver… Prosecco on arrival-found the dream dress and accessories, with all that in tow made myself the other bridesmaids feel completely involved throughout the whole process. For what was an very emotional day Edna made it that little more special (with some of the best cuddles) and really made the bride feel like a princess. Also a MASSIVE thank you to Gemma and Bogusia. Just an incredible experience.

I attended Brides of Southampton yesterday for the first time; looked after by the lovely Michelle. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for her job made me feel completely at ease from the moment I stepped into the store. From the array of beautiful dresses, she knew exactly which ones would suit me. By the end of my visit, I was able to say ‘yes to the dress’!
A highly recommended store to find the dress of your dreams at a very reasonable price. The whole experience was one I will never forget.

So caring and professional from start to finish. My friend told me you never get the ‘bridal experience’ anymore which was true for the two boutiques I had visited before Brides, but as soon as I entered the shop my faith was restored. Edna was soooo welcoming, me and my guests were offered Prosecco and they had written my name on the mirror with a welcome message 🥹. Aside from the great customer service, there is an excellent choice of dresses and Edna had all the experience to advise me too and I ended up falling in love with two dresses! Upon returning to try them on again, the same experience was upheld and Edna knew the exact order for me to try on to help me make my decision! Once made, she also had the best eye for detail with accessories and veil and could even wizz up a quick up-do with my hair (despite me not bringing a hairband) so that I could really get a true vision for how I would look on my big day. Needless to say I bought my dream dress from brides of Southampton and can’t wait to go back for my alteration appointment. A truly perfect experience, thank you.

When I first arrived, I felt really overwhelmed and anxious, but Michelle was so kind and reassuring that I was soon able to feel much more at ease. She was very patient, and I was able to keep covered up and not be rushed and use my own quirks such as non-traditional shoes and a hat! Being older and short and plump, I had convinced myself I would never find a dress anywhere, but actually found the perfect dress for me, which I have not seen anywhere else. I don't normally give feedback, but it really was such a positive experience - thank you so much!

Even before stepping in the door pre my first appointment I knew they would look after me. As a nervous bride to be with no clue what I am doing the pre consultation on email before appointment really helped me think about what styles I liked and what I wanted out of my dress. They have an awesome Instagram and tictok account where they showcase their range in store - I admit I spent hours watching their content pre appointment 🥰 as did my sister (MOH) 😂

Then the day arrives and I have to try on a wedding dress for the first time 😬😬😬 I was nervous and excited and had the fear that I would hate myself in all these beautiful dresses that were in store as a plus size bride…
Well I couldn’t be more further from my fears. The team at BOS are incredible and made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in the door. They are so fun, thoughtful, professional and really know their dresses!! Big shout out to the amazing Lily who was with me every step of the way listening to me and working with me to find the perfect one. Lily you really made it so special for me thank you 💕

Long story short I feel in love with ‘the one’ straight away but still tried on many others to make sure it really was meant to be mine. I’m so excited to visit the team again and my dress when it arrives for my first fitting. I also live out of the country so the team have been super flexible with me about when I can get back home for future appointments. They really do go above and beyond.

I was very impressed with my bridal dress appointment! Both Gemma and Michelle were really helpful and friendly before hand which made booking the appointment very simple and I was very excited. They answered any questions I had so I felt really comfortable before my appointment.
On the day, Michelle was absolutely lovely and so helpful and found me dresses I absolutely loved based on what I had told her and my reactions to other dresses. She was really friendly, helpful and enthusiastic which made the whole appointment very enjoyable! The dresses were all beautiful and I was surprised by the good prices.
Will definitely be returning and I would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with Brides of Southampton on Saturday and found just the dress I wanted.
I had already gone with a dress in mind but Edna went through some different options with me, just to make sure I had confidence in the big decision I was about to make. Edna looked after my so well that I cannot thank her enough. I was on my own, so it was reassuring to have such a lovely lady looking after me and listening to what I would like from my dress.
It ended up better than I could have asked, I found my dress, accessories, and an unplanned for veil, which set everything off just perfectly.
I cannot recommend the team at Brides of Southampton enough, the process was smooth from start to finish...now just got to wait for my dress to come in!
Thank you all for making it a special event and I look forward to coming in to do a reveal with my Mum once the dress arrives.

I can not recommend this beautiful wedding boutique enough! Both Gemma & Lily were absolutely amazing. The genuine care, passion, knowledge & insight they have is incredible. I have been to Brides of Southampton once before but as a bridesmaid for my cousin who was getting married & the experience then was amazing, so you can only imagine how I felt returning as the bride! I knew in my heart & gut there was no where else I wanted to go, so I genuinely only booked Brides of Southampton to look for my wedding dress. When I arrived although I was so excited and had been so looking forward to going wedding dress shopping as soon as I booked it, I was also a little nervous, but unsure why. Both Lily & Gemma instantly helped me to relax & took the pressure off & as soon as I started trying dresses on l, I immediately knew I was in safe hands. They both made me feel amazing & within no time at all they were absorbing everything I was saying, seeing how I felt & taking in every detail of helping me to find my dream dress. Then just like magic they brought a dress for me to try & it was absolutely perfect. I felt so listened too & they knew what I wanted even though I couldn’t explain it to a fine detail, they just got it. I loved the dress as soon as it was on before they had even finished doing it up. Ha ha. It was just enough of everything I loved without being too much. Gemma & Lily actually picked this out for me. It wasn’t one I had picked out & it was perfect & beautiful in every way. They just got me in that one appointment, which is why they’re so amazing at what they do. I couldn’t stop staring at my dress & didn’t want to take it off (that’s when you know you have found “the one”) they were both so patient & caring. They took their time, they didn’t rush me or pressure me at all & they were just as much a part of my journey, as my lovely ladies I took with me were. I genuinely trusted & valued what they were saying & they got just as excited as we all did, which I loved. It was truly so much fun, and just as magical as you would wish it to be. Not to mention the beautiful range of dresses they available, you couldn’t not find your dream dress in there. I shared my hopes & worries with finding my perfect wedding dress & they just took care of the rest. You ladies are truly remarkable at what you do & I honestly can’t wait to come back & see you both again & get my dress 😍😭 thank you for all you done yesterday. Honestly meant the world! X
