I travelled for just under 2 hours to get to Cutting Edge and it was time well spent. They have such a great collection of dresses and the staff are AMAZING. I had my appointment with Suzanne and I must have tried on at least 20 dresses. I never felt rushed and she was so helpful and lovely. I never felt pressured to buy anything (which I had felt at other bridal shops) and she really encouraged me to try on a range of styles. I found the most perfect dress and I couldn't be happier. So glad I found this place! A huge thank you to Suzanne for helping me find my dress :)

I can't rate Suzanne and her team highly enough. From my first visit, where they put me at ease, made me and my party comfortable and then helped me chose 'the one' after trying on quite a number of options, to my last appointment when I went to collect my dress. Every visit I made Suzanne has been on hand to answer questions and guide me with advice. Christina the seamstress has done a beautiful job making my dress fit perfectly and I now can't wait to show it off on my special day. When I went to cutting edge brides I was a bit weary as I'd had a really bad experience in another shop. Jaimie made me feel so welcome and settled my nerves straight away. We tried on the dresses that I wanted and there this pretty little one that I thought wouldn't suit. She told me to try it on anyway and I instantly fell in love. I told her that my dream was to have a red wedding dress and she made it happen! I chose the Emily dress from Rita Mae. Thank you to all who made my dream come true, I was so overwhelmed with compliments from everyone on the day! Couldn't recommend this shop enough, you all went over and beyond for me.

Absolutely stunning selection of tea length and vintage style dresses. I didn’t buy my dress there in the end, but I couldn’t fault my visit. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and they made my first shopping trip a delight.

I searched the width and bredth of the UK looking for THE dress and I ended up finding it in a cute little boutique in Bexley! I always knew I wanted to go retro and they specialise in just that. I loved the choice and variation. They were accommodating over the pandemic and were professional in resolving an issue they had in sourcing the petticoats. The seamstress was also happy to make all the alterations I desired too. Many thanks!!

After doing some extensive research into the style of dress I wanted and where I could find such a dress I found Cutting Edge Brides.

Initially I was nervous but with a gentle nudge from a twitter user I made my appointment. I was made to feel special and welcome from the moment I (and some friends and family) arrived, and there was an incredible selection to pick from.

After trying on several dresses Jaime said that she had a dress upstairs she wanted me to try. The one she brought down was the dress I had been looking at on their website for ages but simply thought it was too beautiful for me. Well once I put it one we all realised it was THE dress and I just had to have it.

The following fitting sessions also went smoothly and the end result was wonderful.

Suzanne was extremely helpful and showed me lots of dresses and possible adjustments. She was even very patient waiting for me while stuck in traffic for a really long time. Overall had a great experience, thank you very much!

Susanne was absolutely wonderful, she opened last minute to help my aunt. She instantly understood what my aunt was after and was brilliant at suggesting and guiding her. Enormous selection of gowns, such a lovely environment and fabulous manner. If wedding dresses were something you bought regularly we'd definitely be back all the time!
