Trudy Smith Bridal & Prom Boutique

After looking in several shops for a dress for my daughters prom with no luck we came to Trudy Smith today and left with a beautiful dress! We left it so late to find a dress and was running out of time and options but Trudy is so patient, knowledgeable and a talented seamstress and gave us such amazing personal service as did Linda her lovely staff member. Honestly can’t recommend this shop enough for prom and bridal, Trudy and Linda Thank you so much, Lynsey and Bella Hayes

I would highly recommend Trudy Smith Bridal shop. We purchased our daughter's prom dress there and the staff were incredibly helpful, even completing some last minute alterations at very short notice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the dress was amazing. Many Thanks

Picking my wedding dress was always going to be hard, but Trudy was there to listen and help with what I was looking for. After finding the dress I wanted Trudy then altered it to my perfect wedding dress. Thank you so much x

I've not had the best experience at Trudy Smith.It was the second bridal shop I visited and as soon as I stepped in the shop I knew I would never buy anything from there.The floor was filthy,the dresses were dragged around on the dusty floor,stepped on etc.I'm a size 10 but they didn't have a dress in my size,all four I tried looked awful on me at least 2 sizes bigger.I was left alone in the cubicle to put the dresses on,not accommodating or helpful at all.They were unprofessional and scruffy, Trudy had sauce slopped down her top.The dresses were over priced.I wasn't allowed to take pictures so I could look at them later,never a phone call or email after the appointment to ask about my experience.I went with 3 family members and a friend at summer time,we were not offered a drink for about 20 minutes.The shop was so hot,I felt extreamly uncomfortable in them dresses.Could go on a bit longer but this should be enough to put anyone off.
The first shop I went was spotless, accommodating, professional, the dresses were gorgeous and clean,I was asked for feedback, given the website of the designer so I could look at other dresses.They ordered one in for my request,on my 2nd visit I fell in love with it instantly and bought it.
I would not recommend Trudy Smith.

After looking in a lot of main department stores for a suitable dress for my first formal event, and being disappointed with the choice available for me.
I decided to give Trudy Smith’s Bridal Boutique, Ormskirk.
It turned out to be the best decision I have ever made!
Trudy & Dawn both made me feel very welcome & at ease. Their knowledge of the dresses was exemplary & in depth.
Trudy spent so much time with myself, ensuring that the colour & style of dress suited me. (Even going the extra mile, after suggesting, to make a wrap from the material, left after the final fitting appointment.)

I would not hesitate to recommend Trudy for whatever type of dress you may require, be it Bridal, Prom or Evening Wear. (And it is an extensive selection too!)
So don’t be too surprised when you say
“YES! To the Dress!”

I bought my wedding dress from Trudy during covid. Trudy could not have been more lovely, personable or accommodating. It felt warm and friendly and we had such a laugh while at the appointment. I found my dream dress and the price point was really good compared to other boutiques I had been to. When I then found out that due to covid my wedding would have to be cancelled, rearranged and only 15 people allowed, Trudy let me arrange for me to try my dress and veil on and my grandparents came to stand outside the shop to see me in my dress as they wouldn't be able to be there on the wedding day. Nothing was too much for her and she was always more than happy to help.

Having visited the shop, I have to say I had the most wonderful experience. Trudy and her team made myself, friends and family truly welcome and made the visit a fantastic memory. There was no rushing or limit to dresses to try on, which I know some people have told me they have experienced in other stores. The ladies were attentive and easy to get along with and the dresses were beautiful. I found my perfect dress!, thank you trudy smith bridal x x

Wow, my first experience at a Bridal Shop was amazing ! And this was all thanks to Trudy, she is such a beautiful, kind person who made my experience here amazing, her kindness just made me feel like I was trying on dresses with my mum, as opposed to someone I had just met! She listened to exactly what I wanted!

One off the gowns Trudy picked out for me, was truly gorgeous! I didn’t want to take it off! I am so indecisive so I was very shocked when I said YES TO THE DRESS within minutes!!
