Mathilda Rose Bridal Boutique

Matilda Rose is a lovely quaint little shop. I came here recently and my whole experience was just lovely and incredibly helpful! As I do not wear dresses, I really had no clue on style or fit but Nicola was very patient with me and I managed to try on afew and bring it down to just 2 dresses that I am still deciding on. She has a really amazing range of dresses to choose from all really pretty designs! I would recommend this shop to anyone needing guidance on finding the dress for thier big day!

I had been feeling a bit low at the prospect of not being able to find a wedding dress due to the Covid-19 lockdown. My best friend went on the hunt and found some dresses in my price range that I loved. When she called the boutique Nicola was so helpful and whilst we couldn’t go in and try them on she offered to drop a selection of dresses in my size and prize range to our house to try on. We really loved one in particular but it needed some alterations so she put us in contact with a lovely Seammistress who can do the changes for me. I am now the happy owner of my wedding dress. Thank you to Nicola and Maria for making a very stressful time so much easier and being so helpful. I would definitely recommend this boutique they will go above and beyond for you.

Unfortunately my experience is not one that I would recommend to others. I felt rushed throughout and was pushed out the door after about 30 minutes. I wasn't offered any help getting into the dresses and I felt like the staff were lackluster.
Nicola didn't follow up as she promised with an email of the dress I liked and I have subsequently bought a dress elsewhere. I can honestly say my experience was entirely different when I visited other bridal shops.
Its such a shame as I always like to support local independent retailers.

I contacted Matilda Rose in a panic 6 weeks before my wedding date when by original dress was a disaster. Nicola responded super quickly and instantly offered me reassurance, getting me booked in the next morning. The two ladies working were absolutely wonderful. I immediately felt so comfortable in their hands and they knew exactly what would work best. They were so kind and worked really hard to check which dresses were available based on my quick turnaround. Ive ended up with a beautiful dress that I wouldn’t have even tried had it not been for them. I’m happier than I could have ever imagined and my new dress is stunning, so much more than I ever thought. It’s the best possible outcome I could have hoped for. A faultless service!

I strongly recommend Matilda Rose, Nicola is so helpful and will give you her honest opinion, as soon as I tried on my dress we all knew it was the one! It was absolutely stunning, the process was very straight forward and easy. The shop is lovely and there were so many stunning dresses to choose from, you won't be disappointed!

I'm a vendor in this industry and I spent over a week researching the best bridal boutiques out there. Mathilda Rose are the best! There's a good reason why they've won the 'best bridal retailer' award at The Wedding Industry Awards! I love their range of dresses and amazing professionalism and can't wait to work with them here in Sussex. Any bride that works with this boutique is so lucky!
