We had the most amazing experience at Laura May Bridal! Myself, my mom, and my maid of honour came in for an appointment which I'd booked a few months earlier, and were greeted by the most wonderful and helpful team. Abbie was my personal stylist and she put me SO at ease. She had such great advice and recommended that I choose a few dresses in various styles, even if it wasn't what I originally was looking for, so that I could get an idea as to what looks/feels best. We had our own room downstairs which was so lovely and even had a sign with my name on it- we were treated to glasses of Prosecco while trying on the dresses and the whole experience just felt really relaxed, not stressful at all. I tried on about 5-7 dresses and Abbie was great about making suggestions and bringing me ones she thought I'd like. In the end, when I tried on my dress I "knew" it was the one, and after a little celebration Abbie helped find some veils and accessories that could go with it, and that was that! I couldn't recommend Laura May highly enough- it's a must go for any brides to be!

As a size 18-20 bride, I was super nervous going in, but the ladies were fabulous and made me feel gorgeous the whole time. They took my dress suggestions on board, and I even ended up buying one of the dresses I had on Pinterest! Not once were they pushy or trying to upsell me, just fabulous women all-around.
Would definitely recommend booking an appointment with them for finding your perfect dress.

Before I came to Laura May in 2019 I'd been to three other bridal shops and two were very disappointing, with no dresses in my size (10), staff making me feeling rushed and limits on how many I could try on. I was so excited to go dress shopping but my first two experiences had left me feeling extremely deflated and upset. However, coming here and meeting Laura turned all that around. I'd been asked what I was looking for over the phone and from the moment I walked into the shop, Laura knew exactly the style I was after. She was so kind, helpful and friendly and let me choose as many dresses to try on as I wanted. There was no pressure and I wasn't rushed at any point, in fact Laura actually stayed on with me after closing as my appointment had been later in the day. There was a range of sizes and plenty in my own size that meant I didn't have to be pegged into everything like I had been before. I thought I wanted a Stella York which was initially why I chose to come to Laura May and had actually already gone past my dress on the rail and discounted it. It was Laura who pulled it and encouraged me to try it on and boy did she know what she was doing! The dress (Enzoani Mercedes) was the most beautiful thing I've ever tried on and fitted as though it was made for me. It was absolutely everything I'd been looking for and without Laura's incredible knowledge and experience, I would never have found it. I felt incredible in the dress each and every time I tried it on, from fittings to my wedding day and I truly couldn't have asked for anything more. I recommend Laura May to anyone I know getting married and my best friend also bought her stunning dress from here last year. I had just the most amazing experience and 1000% recommend Laura May Bridal, they really do make dreams come true!

I would highly recommend any bride-to-be visit Laura May Bridal in Morgan Arcade, Cardiff, in search of their perfect dress. The staff were kind, attentive and truly passionate about helping me find what it was I wanted. There was so much choice and the overall feel of the boutique made the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed, everyone in my bridal party immediately said as soon as we walked through the door. Down to the warm welcome, the happy smiles, the personalised rooms with welcome board, cakes, and drinks. Every member of the team made me feel amazing and went out of their way to chat to me about my choices. Last but not least, my bridal consultant Abbie. I cannot praise her enough! Such a fantastic person, inside and out, she helped me find my dress, I told her what I had in mind and she nailed it! She understood me, she genuinely cared. I only tried on 2 out of the 4 dresses that she picked out for me and I was completely overwhelmed. They were perfect. I couldn’t believe the stunning dresses she picked out for me were within budget, I thought there was no way as they were all so so beautiful. Thank you to all the team at Laura May Bridal!

After hearing such amazing things about LMB this was the only shop I wanted to go in. It did not disappoint! I was made to feel so special and May was so patient and reassuring and helped me to find the perfect dress! All the dresses in the store are so beautiful and the private room along with all the thoughtful touches made the whole experience so wonderful for us all. 100000% recommend!

After not a great start looking for my wedding dress of choice I found Laura May Bridal on a whim on Instagram. I booked an appointment and what a great move this was!

Firstly the selection of gowns is outstanding. There really is something for everyone and the team are so creative in suggesting alterations to make your choice feel even more like YOUR gown.

The team are incredibly kind and helpful. They are super patient letting you try on what you need to but also make the experience really fun. They kept me and my guests very well stocked on cake and drinks to really enjoy the experience – I felt really free to enjoy and express myself which wasn’t something I have felt at other shops.

Their feedback on gown preference is honest and helps you to narrow down a selection.

For finding such an important dress I was extremely comfortable sharing my likes and dislikes whilst also discussing how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. I felt very heard and valued as a customer and an individual.

I accompanied a very nervous and not very ‘girly’ bride. Kellie was absolutely amazing and made her feel so comfortable - really friendly, helpful and not pushy at all. Laura May bridal has a large range of dresses, when the bride found her dress Kellie was then able to find 3-4 more which were similar to compare so we could be absolutely certain that the dress was perfect. We went on a Saturday so had Prosecco and cupcakes waiting for us - we felt so welcome, not rushed or pressured at all.

I visited LMB yesterday. With it being my first shop I wasn’t sure what to expect. Laura was so accommodating when it came to choosing my dress. She brought all different styles and when we found a style I liked she brought more similar styles for me to try. Laura went the extra mile and even gave advice on what shoes/bouquet/veil etc. she would recommend with the dress.

With having such an amazing experience I had no interest in looking elsewhere and said yes to the dress on my first visit! Would highly recommend LMB and I can’t wait to return for my dress fitting x
