To tell you the truth... don't expect too much. If you don't get to Queen's College then there is no way to put a step on the bridge. The interesting thing about the bridge is that although it may look made with curved timbers, only straight ones were actually used in the construction. Which, by the way, it is the second replica of the 1749 original.

It is nothing special, just a normal wooden bridge over the river Cam. You can walk on it from Queens College. Would be good to visit on a sunny day, but don't expect much. Entrance to Queens College is £5, which is quite a lot for just walking on the bridge.

A curious bridge between different areas of Queens College. Nice walk and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

It's just a bridge! Probably very / much nicer in the summer!

Beautiful bridge a must visit if in Cambridge. Full of history dating back to 1749. The beauty of this bridge is that it is curved or arched and yet it has been made entirely with straight planks of wood.

Very cool wish you didn’t have to pay to get in but worth the money if you know the story.
