Great structure with information boards on when and how it was built. Very interesting and great walk along the canal too. The river paths were closed for some reason when we went. Only access was aquaduct to Caton Road and back. Unless you walk along the canal.

Worth seeing. The architecture is incredible.

To get yo it seems odd. I used Google maps to get there. It took me to a residential area. I had to get permission to park the car and them walked down a steep path through some bushes to get to it. We'll worth the effort, though I worried about the car.

I walked along a narrow path along the river to view and take pictures of the aqueduct from below..

Absolutely fantastic experience! We kayaked from Lancaster town centre and paddled over the Aqueduct and back. It was a beautiful day and the trip was amazing with its different scenery along the canal. It's certainly a busy place for walkers and cyclists and we can understand why.

A serene and scenic site to visit. Beautiful place to walk around and the walking trail was amazing with a lot of fresh air. A nice and calm spot to take a stroll. A bit swampy at places but I loved it! Lucky to have spotted some wonderful swans near the rowing boat. Wish we had gone earlier to take a ride on the waterbus.

What an amazing piece of industrial architectural heritage that suddenly appears as one walks along the River Lune riverside footpath/cycle path about 1.5 miles NE from the centre of Lancaster. 87 steps to walk up from the footpath to the aquaduct and the view from the top is well worth the exercise!! We were blessed seeing a family of three young children fishing with their dad and a pleasure barge bringing excursion passengers on a trip along the Canal from Lancaster. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Nice piece of working architecture. Lovely walk but saw people in a canal boat, canoeing, cycling, fishing etc
