Thought I would see if they could replicate the quality from their first store and I was pleasantly surprised, they stepped up their game, best coffee and French toast in the area

Went there for a quick lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Nice coffee and amazing scrambled eggs! I was just blown away! Good hospitality too. Overall - great vibe and would surely go there again.

Great coffee shop in the centre of Wandsworth. Fantastic high quality coffee made by proper baristas. My test is to see if they make different drinks when you ask for a latte and a flat white (which they do).
I like the fact that this one has opted to promote itself as “screen free” so deters the use of laptops and tablets inside and trying to encourage some human interaction.

I just can say, amazing place and amazing staff. Lovely atmosphere next to the canal and delicious and traditional pad Thai. The staff was so kind and friendly, even they helped us to found an accomodation due a trouble to back home. For sure 100% recommend. Hopefully I'm back.

My favourite place for a coffee in Wandsworth.

The owner is a great guy, and the café manager Douglas is awesome – he and the other baristas are excellent, knowledgeable and most importantly friendly - creating a welcoming place for locals.

I’ve been going here almost everyday the past year since the birth of my baby and found it a nice place to chill with her whilst drinking excellent coffee.

The interior is lovely - one of the nicest I’ve been to in London, particularly love the marble counter and the bespoke furniture.

Definitely worth a visit.

Rip-off for coeliacs, and dirty seats for such a new venue.

Why do restaurants continue to fit out their property with lightly coloured fabric that stains so easily? It just looks dirty and is not inviting or welcoming to people that actually care about the environment they’re in. I see this so often and it’s so illogical to me, and a waste of resources because surely it’s difficult for them to maintain such a non-durable choice in design.

On the food side, choices are very limited if you have coeliac disease and are vegan like me. Alternative milks on offer are positive, with almond being offered in addition to oat. Whilst I understand that oat tastes best in coffee, it’s a no no for coeliacs who don’t have dairy. And we can all do with a bit less soya. They didn’t have any gluten free bread so I basically had to have smashed avocado with an egg on a plate, and pay the same price someone who could eat sourdough would pay. It’s an expensive life being a coeliac!

The actual venue is nice and great to see some activity in this part of Wandsworth after years of development in the making. But it appears that STORY have possible gone into a unit that isn’t big enough for them, as they had a lot of stock on show and a big hoover right next to one of the tables. Not as big a deal to me as the dirty seats and lack of options for coeliacs though.

I visited here in September 2022 and have to say I really liked the café. Very airy, fresh look and feel. The coffee is excellent but I didn’t realise until I sat down it was a screen free cafe. I actually do respect this and like the idea. But i think a few more signs in the cafe or around it would be good as I actually went in to work 😆

The reason for deducting a star is that one of the stool like tables was so wobbly you couldn’t balance an anvil on it let alone a coffee and mine went everywhere.
I told one member of staff at the start and they apologised and another member of staff asked how everything was later and I said I was disappointed to lose most of my coffee due to a damaged table. I wasn’t offered a replacement by either person and felt this was pretty poor from them.
So great coffee, friendly staff but a pretty mediocre customer experience. I probably wouldn’t return sadly

I have been to story coffee multiple times and every-time I go its nothing but a pleasurable experience. The staff are so friendly and really knowledgable about coffee - prices are really good for the quality of the coffee you get.

I also enjoy the fact its also a screen free cafe - it creates a more engaging a open environment and less of a cold space for workers on calls and tapping away on laptops.

My favourite coffee shop in London! Cant recommend enough!!
