Having contacted several well-recommended companies to enquire about our loft conversion project, we decided upon Simply Easy Refurbs for a few reasons.
Firstly, from the initial meeting with Sebastian and Marius, it was clear that they were committed to delivering high-quality work with a focus on customer care. The fact that we got to meet Marius, who would be managing the build, at the first pre-sales stage gave us all the reassurance that our project was going to be in safe hands, and they did deliver beyond our expectations. Secondly, they worked exclusively in our local area with their team of contractors. Thirdly their pricing for the whole package and insurance guarantees was very competitive!

During our initial meetings Marius addressed points not mentioned by any of the other companies, so we felt very reassured that they truly knew what they were doing. Our project was slightly more complex than a normal loft, as all the ceilings needed lowering and they did this beautifully and very quickly.

Once we instructed Simply Easy Refurbs to start our loft back in February they were very prompt and professional throughout and even though the COVID-19 lockdown took place in the middle of the works, the Simply Easy Refurbs teams worked throughout this period of uncertainty and delivered beyond expectations and worked with us so we could move back into our house as soon as possible.

Marius and his team are highly skilled and work extremely diligently, and are clean and respectful to boot.

Simply Easy Refurbs have recently completed a loft conversion in our home in SE London and we are over the moon with the results. From the planning stages to execution, we were given excellent advice on what our loft could accommodate along with optional extras that may benefit the project further down the line. At no point did we feel pressured or obligated to follow advice, however we trusted our builders, Minde and Stas, and have ended up with two light, bright double bedrooms and a great shower room that maximised space, without compromising the first-floor layout of our home. The project has been finished to the highest standard, but equally important to us was the supportive customer service calls from Emma, and total transparency throughout the project, from Sebastian’s initial quote right through to completion. We were nervous undertaking the build in the current climate, however this well-connected company ensured our project ran smoothly from start to finish. We felt valued as customers, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for building projects and aim to have them back for phase 2 of our home build in the near future. -Double Storey Extension Banstead- Sebastian and the team at SimplyEasy Refurbs have been absolutely brilliant in building us a double storey rear extension. We are delighted with the outcome and now have a superb space which me and my family are now enjoying. We actually had the estate agent around the other day who has told us our property value has increased by £400,000 from what we paid for it just a few years ago so the building work has increased our house price also! We would not hesitate in recommending Sebastian and the SimplyEasy Refurbs team and are more than happy to show any potential clients around we know it can be a hard choice when choosing a building company.

We have had a great experience with Sebastian and his team at SimplyEasyRefurbs. The entire team were skilled within their individual fields, and our loft was completed to a high standard within three months as promised. We now have two double bedrooms and a bathroom in our loft space. As with all building works, a few mishaps arose, but these were addressed to our satisfaction. Seb and team have created a much needed and great value loft extensión for our house, working through permitted development with ease and executing on time and budget. Don’t forget to replace your old roof around your new loft conversion. Brexit delayed some but arriving but they were swiftly installed. Otherwise they were professional, fast and pleasant to deal with. I can’t say the same for every builder!! Work is completed to a very high standard.

As you can imagine, planning to do a loft conversion during a pandemic requires more reassurance than ever before. After consulting with SimplyEasy Refurbs I was rest assured that I had chosen the right team and gained the confidence that I was in need of to go ahead with my plan for definite.

Having researched loft extension companies and requested multiple quotes from various other businesses, Simply Easy Refurbs were not the cheapest but definitely the company we felt the most confident going for when it came to our build. Sebastian and Marius were happy to talk through any questions or concerns we might have and were always there to speak with on our WhatsApp group. When a couple of issues did come up, for example we thought the builders were going off the architects plans regarding the size of a window when they were actually working off the original measurements in the contract, Sebastian was very quick to correct this at Simply Easy's own cost.

The build itself moved very quickly to start with but did slow down towards the end (snagging and last minute jobs waiting to be finished). After chasing, these jobs were completed but that was the most frustrating part of the project.

All in all we absolutely love our extension, and the quality of work that's been put into it. We're constantly being asked for the details of the company who did it and 100% recommend Simply Easy. We'd like to thank Sebastian and Marius and their building team for a fantastic job!
