I have used Lakewood Build on a number of occasions over many years. First for a full kitchen refurbishment including new windows and then for a living room refurbishment. Lakewood build also handmade my children's bed, wardrobes and shelving units. Paul, who owns the company, always goes above and beyond to ensure a first-class professional service with exceptional quality of workmanship and materials. When snags are inevitably surfaced, given the nature of my period property, Paul communicates the issue and the options for resolution in an open and honest manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Lakewood build.

Lakeland Build renovated and refurbished my East London flat and I couldn't be happier with the finished result.

Paul and his team are professional, timely and totally transformed my flat into my dream home. I was initially quite hesitant to start the project but with the help of Lakewood I became more confident and together we planned the works and desired end look of my flat. They helped with everything from floors to windows , new kitchen , bathroom, joinery, electrics, plumbing and even helped with design and interior choices.

We used Lakewood to build a side return + do additional structural and cosmetic work in our Victorian Terrace. I couldnt recommend Paul and his team enough. HIghly professional,, punctual, friendly, work was complete in a very timely manner and to a very high standard plus most importantly Paul was completely transparent around costs and timing the whole way through. Whenever there was an issue (as you always find with these old houses), Paul came straight to us and discussed all the alternatives but always came with solutions rather than just pointing out problems. Another very unique aspect to Paul (in my experience at least) is his courtesy with our neighbours. The first thing he did was go to our neighbours, introduce himself, describe what he was doing and gave them his number in case of any issues. We were pushed for completion date given our second child was due right round completion date and Paul and his team worked around the clock to get things done in time. Since completion, if we have ever had any slight issues or even questions around any of the work carried out, Paul has come round right away to consult and any issues were made good right away (there were very few and mostly aesthetics tbh). He also did some amazing carpentry for us, making me a pretty special office desk from a piece of reclaimed timber.

We would have no hesitation in working with Paul again. Took so much of the stress of a build of this magnitude whilst trying to iive in it with 2 kids.

We love Paul! Lakewood build are brilliant. We’ve used them for many years for all our building projects. From bathroom and kitchen re-fits to a loft conversion and most recently a full house renovation. The work and finish has always been spot on. They really are top chaps, always super reliable and responsive. It’s great to find a team we trust who work with care and attention to deliver a project. I would recommend them to everyone.

Paul is a very skilled and knowledgeable builder. He also has a most excellent design eye, is very collaborative, and ready to find solutions to anything that might crop up.

From the moment I met Paul I knew we would get on well. It is always nerve-wracking committing to a big building project and choosing a builder. When we had the first site meeting with our architects, I quickly felt confident that Paul really knew his stuff and that he also got what we wanted to achieve.

Paul’s strategic planning, both before the build and during, made the whole project so much less stressful than we had been expecting. It was actually really good fun, and we miss having Paul and all his team filling the house with activity, tools and good chats.

They have worked on small projects for us such as children's desks and bigger projects such as complete refurbishment, and re-design of bathrooms. All done to an extremely high standard. Paul and his team are second to none. They did everything from project design and management to minor details. While being very professional, Paul and his team were also flexible and resourceful when it came to problem solving. They were a pleasure to work with from conception to completion and we plan to work with them in the future.

We needed an extension done to a period property in Haringey. The job was started through a referral and it went badly wrong. We contacted Paul at Lakewood and things radically changed overnight.

The combination of experienced skilled works man ship, a friendly and extremely knowledgeable approach, an eye for the small details, as well as straightforward communication, meant that we could relax and know we were in the right hands.
