Many thanks for these fantastic photos. They do indeed look brilliant. It really does put my amateur efforts in to place but on the other hand they show our home in the most wonderful way.
Let us also take this opportunity to thank you and your team. We are absolutely delighted with what you and your guys have done. You have helped us realise our vision for our dream house.
From the outset we were confident that you would be able to deliver what we wanted, on schedule and within budget. The format of payments was excellent. We really appreciated your “can do” attitude and the way we were able to add items into the schedule as we realised that we needed to do more to our house to make it into our home.
Your guys have been a pleasure to work with and we thank you for the care that they took working in our home. Also, watching your guys tackling some of the more ‘difficult’ tasks was truly exciting.
Working through the development of the project, day by day with you on site, has been a pleasure , your attention and sense of humour have ensured that it has been a really great build.
We have really enjoyed our time with you and your guys and want to thank you all so much for building our dream. We are so pleased and delighted that everyone who walks in goes WOW!

SDP started work on our extension at the height of Covid with us having a newborn child, so it's safe to say it was a difficult time to start with major building works!

We definitley didn't have to worry though, as they were helpful and communicative throughout the entire process, going out of their way to change build sequences to best suit our situation. They were so flexible to help us get exactly what we wanted out of it.

We couldn't be happier with the final result, a beautiful high ceilinged extension with bifolds opening out into the garden. A really high quality of work that's added so much functionality and value to the house.

I can't reccomend SDP highly enough, they really went out of their way to help facilitate our needs during the build and delivered a fantastic final product for a really competitive price.

Would highly recommend James and his team. SDP built a loft conversion (hip to gable, with a dormer) on our 3 bed semi and it was the first time we had undertaken such a project. It’s a fair chunk of cash and a bit of a leap of faith when you choose a builder to go with but we felt confident in James from the first time we spoke with him.

We found him to be ideal to work with, very professional and calm. He was quick to respond to messages and we found it easy to discuss any aspects of the project as we went along.

We were very impressed with the whole team, including contractors. They were punctual, professional and considerate and on site every day for the duration. They had an eye for detail and delivered a high quality end product. We have two small children who were curious about the work going on and we always found the team to be patient and friendly and ready to be flexible around our family arrangements.

Ultimately we were very impressed with the quality of the build and the finish and it was delivered on time and on budget.

From start to finish, my husband and I found James and the SDP team professional, hardworking and friendly. We had a kitchen / dinner extension and new kitchen in our 1930s semi, and are thrilled with the end result. The project was planned and managed properly throughout, with the team onsite, from labourers at the start to kitchen installers at the end, on-site every day. It was great popping our head round the door each night to see what progress had been made that day! We appreciated the regular payment plan, and that no extra hidden costs were occurred. We arranged the new kitchen through James and his team too, and we absolutely love it. We’ve had so many complements from friends, family and visitors. I have no hesitation in recommending SDP - and have already done so a couple of times to friends who need work doing.

James and his team recently completed a large renovation and extension project on our house in Millhouses, Sheffield. We are delighted with the job; every member of his team was hard working, friendly, capable and trustworthy. Over the course of some 6 months, there was barely one day when there were not at least 2 people in attendance, and very often there were many more than that. As you'd expect with a job of this size, there were a few occasions where misunderstandings or assumptions were different, but these were handled with compromise and discussion. Overall we felt we probably got somewhat more labour done than we expected from the quote. The costs for additional work requested along the way were reasonable, and the few snagging issues we noted after the end of the job were resolved promptly. The work was carried out on time and to budget, with the exception of some steel inflation, which was understandable in the current climate. In summary, we are very happy with the quality of the work, and would recommend to anyone considering building work.

I'm really happy with the quality of work carried out by James and his Team. They were very professional, prompt and always left the house clean and tidy after they had finished each day. SDP have been a pleasure to work with.

We’re really happy with the work that SDP have done for us. James and his team have always been very friendly and accommodating. James responded promptly to any questions or queries that we had and was happy to discuss different options with us. We would also definitely recommend Steve for anyone wanting a new Kitchen. He was really helpful at all stages of the process and we were really pleased with final finished kitchen

Currently coming towards the end of the second project that SDP have carried out for me and as per the first one its been stress free and hands off as I am to busy running my main business to worry about the tiny details of a full house renovation. Perhaps a little different to most of SDP clients in that I buy older rundown properties which I then refurbish for resale I need a builder who I can trust to get the job done.
James and his team who are all a friendly bunch with years of experience carry out all works to a high standard as is proved by our last project being sold with a week of coming to market. I am very happy with the way the jobs run , the payment schedule works for me and James keeps me informed on progress with weekly video updates , the house will be on the market very soon. Project three will then be ready to be started !!
