I can recommend Hughes Property. They renovated a property for me which was in a bad state and converted it into flats. Stuart the owner is very straightforward and honest and he made some really good suggestions on how to improve the original plans. He knows his stuff! His team were reliable and did a great job. If you are looking for a reliable professional builder who knows his stuff then try these guys.

We completely agree with the previous reviews on this website. Since being introduced to Stuart he has completed a very difficult renovation of our bathroom and shower room and undertaken various other jobs. All have been completed to a very high standard of craftmanship and in line with estimated charges. Stuart has involved us in all aspects of the job and thoroughly explained how he would complete each task. He is extremely professional and completely trustworthy so, for us, Stuart will always be our only choice when considering further work. We would highly recommend Stuart every time.

Stuart recently did a complete bathroom refurbishment for me. He was very professional and obviously really know his stuff. Before starting the job, he sorted out a problem which another plumber and Welsh Water had failed to fix previously. He promised that the job would be completed before Christmas and went over and above to make sure that it was. I can't praise him highly enough. I'm delighted with the finished result.. Stuart is a lovely man who keeps you informed all the way through the job. I can't recommend him highly enough.

We have just had our bathroom redone from design to complete refit. A very professional job from start to finish. Stuart is very competent and knowledgable, but with a great sense of humour. Any issues were discussed and resolved satifactorily before progressing. Also we were involved every step of the way. Stuart went way beyond what was asked for. It has been a pleasure to have him working in our home and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Everywhere was left neat and tidy at the end of each day. I contacted Stuart during lockdown in need of a complete bathroom refurbishment. He came to look at the job as promised and started the work as soon as materials and fittings became available. Stuart is extremely conscientious, gets to know the job inside out and appreciates that it’s the little things that surround the main job that make such a difference. We love our new bathroom and doors along with all the other bits that we have been meaning to do that are now sorted. If it’s not perfect, it doesn’t get fitted which is rare in this day and age. No matter what the problem he will find a workable solution. You are updated and consulted throughout the work to ensure you are completely happy. Can’t recommend enough. 5*

Did my kitchen (review left by partner) which was fantastic so we also got him to replace our doors. Excellent communication, sensible prices, high quality of work and very good about managing around my work from home situation.
