I ordered a wick (meche as they are called in France) for an ancient brass oil lamp that I purchased in France. I searched the internet for one, that was the correct dimensions and discovered an appropriate wick at Kibwirth DIY. It was much cheaper than anywhere else and arrived by post quite soon after ordering. Good quality wick and service. I wish we had a store like that near me.

Only down side is difficult parking as it is a residential area.
If calling in I would strongly recommend calling in at the vintage tea room over the road too, which is very charming with a very friendly & helpful team waiting on.
