We have been using the Peckham branch for our business needs for a few years now and Gary the Branch Manager has always provided us with a very professional and very efficient service in relation to our last minute requests and enquiries.

Not only do we get a quick turnaround of product availability/lead times and competitive prices, he also provides all the product data/specifications and relevant information along with comparative alternative products if the specified ones are not available within our timescales.

All in all, he never fails to deliver on what has been put forward. Keep up the great work and service Gary, that's why we keep on coming back time and time again.

We have used this Branch for quite a few years now, Gary is always competitive with the prices and all of the staff do their best to accommodate delivery dates with orders placed. Very friendly bunch of staff who are always willing to help.

While their prices might not be competitive for the average Joe Blogg that walks in, once rates are agreed and set on trade account, their service particularly in the Peckham branch is top notch!

Queries made by email or phone are answered promptly by Gary and his team. Having read the negative review below regarding the comment made about the yard boys not being able to spell "EASY", I find that a very ignorant statement. Having used this branch almost on daily bases for the last 3 years, I find their yard personnel very knowledgeable and accommodating. I can walk in there, hand over a picking list to the yard boys the afternoon before and the next morning at 07:00 when my driver get's there, it's all palletised and ready for him thus no time wasted!

I highly recommend this branch. The manager made it very clear that he can try and match very competitive prices and arrange delivery to either London or Wales projects. Thank you Gary Duffield. I look forward to doing more business in the future

This is a real story!
Today I visited Jewson's Peckham branch as I needed 2 bags of mortar and 1 bag of postfix. I rather won't comment on fact that they employ people in the yard who can't spell "EASY" and write 3 numbers (no joke, this happened 2nd time in a row). I was given a yard note, went in to pay, only one till, a guy who was serving was on the phone with the other branch... ok, I'll wait... after 5-7 minutes he found a spare minute to take my yard note, he put it into PC, "that will be £36.8 sir". I said "Excuse me? You joking right?" "No sir, 36.8" "You serious?" This moment he was so kind that he tilted his monitor to show me 36.8", this moment I decided to give him one more shot and I kindly asked him "This is the best price you can offer?", "YES"... Then I said a few words that I'm not proud of, went back to my van, threw those 3 bags out and went to SELCO (5min drive), I paid, listen carefully, £19.19! for the same stuff!
I'm pretty sure that this was my very last visit in Jewson.
If this is how you treat trade people then hat down, wow, really.
