Online help is a joke. Constantly palm you off saying chasing suppliers for an answer.
Never same person in the feed so much confusions. 6 onth complaint re a gate that has expanded & separated unresolved
I gave wickes my money so they they should refund me. I don't care how they interact with their suppliers.
Avoid wickes. Save yourself unwanted stress

Good store maybe not as much variety as B&Q across the road but between them you could find what you need for your DIY project

Waste of time this evening.
Booked a kitchen design appointment, arrived in time but left hanging around for half an hour, not acknowledged, not even offered a seat to wait.
Did get a cup of tea from another staff member who could if started to help get the design started but no update or time indicated.
Thought a Saturday evening appointment would of been better as quieter but you live and learn.
Could of had family time stead of hanging about a warehouse!

Awful store it was absolutely stinking inside, wanted to look at wood flooring and floor tiles but all covered in thick layer of dust. Very quiet and from the outside we actually thought it wasn't open. Not rated at all

Great store, great prices. Cheaper than B&Q in most things. Has a good sale on paint which is amazing quality compared to most home brands. Always try wickes before anywhere else. Staff friendly and helpful too.

Ordered large building supplies delivery for today between 7am - 7pm , order confirmed and said they would text me with a specified time the day before . So today no text to say what time they was delivering so half 2 i gave them a call just to check if it was still being delivered.

He said yes all good its still here not been picked up yet but its defiantly coming today.

So its just gone 6.50pm and no one has turned up so i called to find out if its still coming. Just got through to them and no its not coming today , they lied and said that they had tried to contact me and even caught himself out saying then that i was on the list of people that should have been contacted.

Couldn't care less attitude didn't seem to care that it was a large order of building materials needed for a job tomorrow. Id stay well away if you don't want to be messed around waiting for 12 hours for no one to contact you and couldn't give a toss if they did or not

Customer service is better from a call centre the other side of the world.

Thanks for wasting 12 hours of my life waiting for you and messing up my work for tomorrow

STAY WELL AWAY

Bit of a shame, our #bluelightcard holders have zero discount.
After all the help to the #NHS and we get nothing back from these companies that .made a killing in the #covid period.
Shame!
Most places give 20%
Just spent £640 too :(

So glad to read some of the reviews on this site. Had a most unimpressive visit yesterday when we decided to go to Wicks to look for a new kitchen. Firstly, there was nobody around to ask so we approached a woman on a cash till. She disappeared upstairs, then returned, assuring us that someone would be down in 5 minutes. Quarter of an hour later nobody appeared and a young girl was sent to look for him. When Samuel Hughes, "Design Consultant," deigned to appear, he treated us as though we could barely afford their prices,
telling us Wicks was twice the price as B&Q and did a fantastic job in losing valued customers who had budgeted at least £12k for a new kitchen! Well done, young man, someone else will benefit from our hard-earned money and I suggest you get some sales training in before you lose another sale!
