ACRA Brick Cleaning & Restoration

The team from ACRA Stone and Brick Cleaning (Cosmin and Alex) have done a brilliant job in cleaning the wood floor from my garden. The initial phase was very dusty and they ensured that the site was clean and tidy at the end of the day. They were all polite and friendly and were always happy to answer any questions we had and explained what they were doing at each phase of the job. They were professional and the quality and standard of the work completed is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend the company. Thank you !

Cosmin, Alex and the team did an excellent job renovating the outside of my house - they removed the paint from the front and back of a Victorian terrace, did extensive repairs to the brickwork (replaced ~200 bricks), repaired stonework, repointed everything and painted the stonework, windowsills etc. The exterior was in poor condition and it now looks great - like a new house!

It was a pretty big job but the whole team worked hard and got it done in the estimated timeframe. Excellent communication from Cosmin throughout. Pricing was inline with the market. Would recommend!

A couple of weeks ago Cosmin and Alex attended my property to sand/glass blasted the brickwork.

I initially contacted Cosmin on a Thursday and after some negotiation on price a date was set for Tuesday for them both to complete the works. A very quick turnaround compared to what other companies were offering.

On the day of cleaning, Cosmin and Alex arrived promptly at 8.30am as we agreed, unloaded their tools and machines. They began by adding extra sheeting protection to the scaffolding in addition to the monoflex which we already had up. They then divided my house and our neighbours in order to achieve a straight line for cleaning.

I originally thought that they were going to use chemicals and a pressure washer to clean the bricks but Cosmin and Alex explained that this would not have been enough to remove all the carbon from the bricks as a result of my house being on a main road. Instead they used sand and glass to blast the bricks followed by a high temperature power wash. I must say how correct they were using this method. The bricks look so clean compared to our neighbours. The job was done at a high standard and am so pleased with the result.

One other thing to note, is how conscientious and proud the guys are of their work. They even ensured that both of our neighbours houses were thoroughly cleaned as a result of the sand being blown in their direction.

To conclude, I would 100% recommend ACRA Brick Cleaning and Restoration for any brick cleaning, paint removal, re-pointing work. I will definitely be contacting Cosmin and Alex for any future projects that I may have.

Cosmin and his team did a brilliant job of restoring the front of our Edwardian terraced house. They removed multiple layers of old paint from the whole front of the house, cleaned up the bricks, replaced damaged bricks and then repointed. The house looks absolutely fantastic. All done on schedule by a professional team. Would recommend.

My husband and I bought a house that had awful red paint on it, and we were in search of a reputable brick cleaning company. We were drawn in by Acra's excellent reviews, but moreso our interactions with Cosmin who was so polite, respectful and understanding when a lot of companies either don't get back to you or dismiss you as they're too busy. Especially as we were contacting Acra potentially 6+ months earlier than when we thought we could afford the work. Cosmin and his team did a brilliant job taking off the paint, and subsequently re-pointing the front and replacing any bad bricks for us. It was such a positive experience for us - they always turned up on time and got the work done very quickly. We highly recommend this company to anyone out there looking for this type of service, you won't be disappointed!

Cosmin’s lads stripped the pebbledash from our house and cleaned the bricks and repointed. Amazing job done quickly and without fuss and being very mindful of the neighbours. He also jumped in to help out with a few other bricklaying jobs which was a huge help. Easy to communicate with and a lively bloke. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully use the guys again!
