Visiting Kent this has to be one of the most brilliant days out to treat yourselves and children to. As you see there are only a few Google reviews as they dont really need to advertise. Anyone who has use the Light railway will say what an amazing set it is. Great British invention living through two centuries. Absolutely fun day out would highly recommend.

We have been several times to the Romney Hyr The and Dymchurch Railway. It is alway an amazing day, never failing to give us great pleasure.

I’m trying to find the details page for the cafe at the end of the line at Hythe, but I can’t find it... Anyway... just wanted to say that this is my favourite railway. Love it, but wanted to give a special mention to the cafe. Made a great day out extra special. We were surprised at what good value it was for the sandwich and cake platter that came with tea included.
The girl working there was really nice... friendly and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. I’d give it six starts if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
