I visited the newly built Stagecoach Bus Station adjacent to the old one which has now closed. From a transport integration view I thought it was well laid out, safe for customers and has clear timetable and stand /destination displays. The 'departure lounge' seating area on each stand was a nice touch but woefully inadequate on busier routes. The help centre was nice with maps and timetables, even a book swap bus and seating were available. There are vending machines and toilets that you have to pay for. I found it easy and safe to transit from bus to bus... And the station is only a five minute walk to the main shopping areas.

Once again came to bus station in belief we were going to catch a bus that was shown as running on website and in station but just didn't happen. Don't blame the drivers and don't agree with people venting at them but really? Is this the way to run a business? Come on Stagecoach and partners communicate with your customers. We get that times are challenging but if you continue with this shambles you will lose all good will.

The public toilets are very clean. I don't know how much you have to pay to use them as it was out of order....but you can still use them. The building in general was very nice and new. Much better than before.

Absolute shambles as usual. Bus station was ridiculously busy, so many buses showing as running on app & on screens etc, but then didn't turn up. When we asked a driver if he knew what happened, he just stated "its running". Well, no, it wasn't, about 20 people waiting 4 it, definitely didn't turn up!! No buses wait at the correct stands, so the drivers just shout in the terminal where they are going from, so good luck if u don't hear them! I don't necessarily blame the drivers, but some can be rude when u ask a question. Won't be using buses again, for the price u pay now, might as well drive or get the train.

Different premises but the same useless service. 9 bus delayed without any information whatsoever leaving me to go to the staff area myself and ask for information only to be given a rubbish story that there was an issue with the bus so ‘the driver needs a break’. This is the second time this has happened in a matter of weeks. No accountability at all with this joke of a company. Fair enough if there is a legitimate issue but did it not occur to them to provide any information and just leave people waiting?

Busy place with Job opportunities for someone who wants to drive for a living. They offer training through their driving school to become a fully functional bus driver. If you already hold a bus licence and are thinking about working for stagecoach, they are currently offering a £2000 sign on bonus.

Was quite surprised given the recent bad press concerning Stagecoach and it inefficient service but I popped into the information point today to query about a journey and received great service from Darren. If the company took some direction from this employee maybe they could start to turn things around. Thanks Darren.
