This simple bus station has had a recent makeover, though still the same small bus shelters and new seats but same layout. A small new toilet block built in place of the original and lost the little shop. It's not the best place to wait for a bus in bad weather but buses from here to many locations - Bham & Sutton, Tamworth, Walsall, Burton etc Lichfield City rail station is opposite.

Station has some decent connections; Sutton, Birmingham, Walsall, Tamworth, Burton, Rugeley and Cannock to name a few. But the buses are limited and some don't run after 6pm. The station itself is not pleasant when waiting in poor weather, with small shelters and uncomfortable seating. New toilets are better than the old ones, which urgently needed updating. However, I don't feel this bus station reflects the fact Lichfield is meant to be a city. I've seen smaller towns with better services.

I am a bus driver here on a Thursday and two be honest the toilets are just not addiquate the bus station is also for coaches and when they bring visitors the toilets are less than useless, they are all unisex which makes for its own problems, who ever design them f should be made to use them.
