2004, my first visit to see trains operating on the reconstructed tracks here. This was the end of the line at that time!

A much quieter starting point for getting out and about around Snowdonia, with easy access to the Rhyd dhu path, up to the summit of Snowdon. Other interesting looking walks across the road. Car park is £5 for the day, pay and display that takes cards (didn't work for us though, take coins).

Great little car park to start the walk up Snowdon, cheaper then PyP as well

Great place to park for the Rhyd Ddu path up Snowdon, the parking machine is usually broken .

The station is part of the Caernarvon too Porthmadoc narrow gauge line.
