Pendyffryn Farm

I thought I would add this review for balance as the only previous review seemed a little harsh and unnecessarily so. I don't necessarily disagree with some of the points but the perspective is out.

This site has a tap, a toilet block and a bulk refuse bin, nothing more. We tend to spend the odd weekend there and rough it, and it's fine for that. Saying the toilets are unclean is simply not true (I'm a service manager in the cleaning trade) The toilets are old world with good old fashioned "Thunder box " flushes and they are cleaned every day, they are fine, though you will need your own loo roll.

The big plus for me is the lack of greed from the farmer who charges a flat rate of £10 per night.

Very basic camping in an open field, opposite Pendyffryn Farm, only a shabby toilet block with just cold water to basins, toilets with pull chains, bring your own toilet roll, NO showers. There is no electric socket & just a strip light. Price for 2017 £10 per tent. Great views of the mountains & beach view to the front over a busy main road with constant noise (the A55 expressway)
No phone number, just turn up, farmer visits to collect money & clean toilets daily.

Great place to be based to travel around local destinations .

Great site. Lovely views and walks. No loud club for drunks and riff raff. Just a good vibe and nature. What more you need.
